Is there any ETA on when this fix will be available in a public build on the Google Play Store? This bug has been super frustrating for me over the past few weeks.

Just to report that the latest beta plex media app and server apps for shield have completely fixed all the issues i was having with connection and blank screens.

I’m still on the current “stable” release for the server. I keep having random drop outs with the shield’s server. I’ve signed up for beta version and it shows up to install. But when go to install, you can see it download then attempt to install. It never installs (get a failed message) and stays in the pending updates. Another app update installed just fine. I’ve tried warm rebooting and cold rebooting. No luck. I’m up for suggestions. Here is a video of what’s happening and the message I get after I try. FWIW a while ago I’ve lost the line in the settings that shows the plex server , the one that has the “running” info. Not sure when that happened. When will the fixed version be available via the App Store on NVIDIA Shield? For now, I have downgraded to the APKMirror version and disabled the App Store from automatically updating any apps - but once a fixed version has been rolled out to the store, I’ll upgrade to it.

They usually announce the server release, along the lines of:
Plex Media Server X.XX.X.XXXX is now available to everyone.

Got the Beta version of the Plex to install. It happened after I also signed up to be a beta tester for the plex app. Not sure if that was a coincidence but when both showed up both installed. So far I haven’t had server drops near as I can tell. Early days though.
