Server not connectable when qbittorrent is running

Server Version#: 4.8.3
Player Version#:

A few days ago I was randomly losing my plex service, locally and remotely. I had just updated plex so I thought for sure that was the issue, I rolled back to a previous version though and this kept happening. I finally figured out that it was qbittorrent causing the crashes. Plex will run 100% fine when qbittorrent is not running, the second I open it my server just disappears, I cannot access any settings, it says it cannot find my server. Within a second or two of closing qbittorrent plex reappears and works as expected. I have made no setting changes to the torrent software, network, plex or anything like that. These two programs worked harmoniously for years until this popped up. I double checked to make sure I was not using the same ports and I am not, beyond that I cant think of anything that could cause this. Any help would be greatly appreciatedPlex Media Server Logs_2019-11-05_13-15-21.zip|attachment (5.3 MB)

Yep or lose direct connection during a cloud drive scan.

I don’t use that app, but is it possible that the app is running an IP filter when it launches, and it needs an exception with your local subnets in it?

While I thought it had to do with qbtorrent, I rolled it back to 4.1.8 without solving the problem.

I’ve continued to play with it every day as it is my main Media Center and started to notice other things.

Attached to my TV is an Amazon Fire TV which is where I have most experienced these problems, as well as a few times in browser, but I noticed the while the same title may keep crashing the PMS from the Amazon FTV, I would be able to play it on my iPhone plex client.

I started looking more into the forums and found another thread that may be more on the nail than the qbittorent thought.

In the thread, they were all having similar issues under the newest version: Version 1.18.1.1973, the same as I am running. They suggest turning off hardware acceleration to which I tried and seems to be working, at least for the title I had so much trouble with last night.

Watching this thread to see other solutions, some are rolling back to older PMS, but I’m still trying to decide what to do.
