Yeah thats the workaround I’m using, but doesn’t really answer the question why Plex thinks programming on an HD channel is broadcast in SD format (which it isn’t). Also makes the ‘prefer HD’ option a little pointless!

[Screenshot 2021-03-29 at 16.04.49] Interesting point but the channels are flagged as HD via a flag in plex (that I have no control over!), and in my tvheadend backend so I’m not sure why it should be totally reliant on EPG-flagging of HD episodes.
