Just noticed that on my two Shield (2019 Pro and 2017) TV Theme Series are not being played.
Further did I notice that when enabling auto playback next Show in a TV Series/Season after the 10 second countdown the picture freezes, music plays on, an after 3-5 seconds the picture continues normal.

The TV Theme series issue is fixed in latest beta which also bring a new UI for the media details screen.
Is the picture freezing happening every time a new episode starts or was it an isolated case?
I’m noticing this as well. Latest beta 8.7.0.20830-beta
Auto play has lots of weird quirks: sometimes it will play fine, sometimes the video seems to jump way ahead of the audio and then has to catch back up, sometimes it freezes all together and I have to back out and start the episode manually.
It will usually start the first few episodes fine, after that the problems start.
In v8.8.1 the postplay has been completely updated, this should solve the issues you have been experiencing with autoplay. If it’s still problematic with this version, let me know with some client logs and I will do some digging.
Since i havent got any feedback from @sixones
i installed last 8.0.xx Version and using old player. now i can watch continuing episodes till its fixed.
Please fix these issuses. (Resolution switching, disappearing Chapter thumbnails, autoplay picture freeze till it catches up with sound)
Thanks for the logs, the issue with autoplay picture freezing and not playing the next episode correctly has been improved in v8.10. We’ve not been able to fully replicate the issue, as such I can’t promise the specific issue you have been seeing is fixed.
