Every once in a while I come across an album that looks like this. This is a single-disc album, and it appears completely correctly in Plex Web, but the Plex app on the Shield shows the first track in a “Disc -1.”
I have re-booted the Shield, refreshed metadata at the server, re-scanned the library… The Plex Dance seems to be the only thing to resolve it. Then the album goes back to looking correct (no negative-numbered disc). Then, somewhere down the road, this album, or a different one, will do the same thing. I’ve found 4 or 5 of them in this state right now.
My files are pretty meticulously tagged, and the library is set to prefer local metadata, and, as I mentioned, this never happens in Plex Web, so I’m flummoxed.
