I started to notice an issue with a show “Bob’s burgers”. It is shows up in my TV shows library as “I Love the 1880’s” which is a show I recorded off WGAL 8.4 Story TV, but only have one episode of it. Seasons 14-16 Of" “Bob’s burger’s” which were recorded from 43.1 WPMT are showing up as I Love the 1880’s not as bobs burgers. the show episode names are correct. even checked my DVD schedule , the next 4 episodes are scheduled for bob’s burgers and everything looks fine. The two shows have separate folders named appropriately on the drive where I have all my media. I have tried refreshing all meta data for TV shows a few times and no change. What has caused this and how can I fix this odd thing?

That’s weird. I created both these shows in my testing library. They both matched fine, tho I did have to select TVDB ordering for the 1880’s show. My setup defaults to TMDB.
I think the first thing I’d try is do the plex dance with Bob’s Burgers. I think that will split the two shows apart. It’s certainly easy & quick to try.
Ok Thanks
I have tried everything I could think from past troubleshooting but that. I even just changed “I Love the 1880s” to TVDB , emptied trash, cleaned bundles and refreshed metadata, didn’t change anything. I’m not at home at the moment and can only work on it via plex Web. I don’t have remote access set up to modify the files remote on that Linux desktop yet, so I’ll try this evening to move the files off that drive and do the plex dance.
I wouldl check the file paths for something off but you should be able to just do a “fix match” on the show.
I tried the “fix match” just now. I was offered a list of shows to match it, picked Bob’s burgers.
Now all the shows are showing up as Bob’s burgers, even the one show I have that is I love the 1880’s now Plex thinks is Bob’s. All that did was create a reverse version of the issue.
You can see the file paths are different. I still has them joined. I’m going to do the Plex dance when I’m at the actual machine. I will try move the one I love 1880’s directory out of the Library. Hopefully that will separate them.
What path do you have set in the individual library folder settings
If you do “unmatch”, does that split them apart? Then you could fix match them separately
