Do you have by any chance the PMS 64 bit version of this PMS server revision : 1.32.2.7100-248a2daf0 ? I found in my Updates folder from AppData only the x86 version.

Would you be able to repeat this test with debug logging enabled using the development build I sent you yesterday 1.32.4.7225 - refreshing the guide and then repeating the tests and capture the logs, EPG db files and xmltv file ?

I tested the version 1.32.4.7225, and for me the live tv is working correctly. One thing I needed to do though was to manually uninstall the old version before installing the test version.

I will remain for now with this test version, and report if I observe anything wrong.
The xml tv file is the same one as I attached in the previous post. It is extracted from the vbox device.

So far so good, no problems observed. On the contrary, maybe it is only a feeling, but the response time seems to be better, and the overall channel to channel switching seems faster.
This is interesting - because it was not working for @NTLX
Wondering if the difference was a Guide Refresh with the development build version that fixed it for you

The difference in your tests of the 1.32.4.7225 development build with the changes to fix the problem, is that a Guide Refresh was run before the test in one case and no Guide Refresh was done in the other
@NTLX please try again 1.32.4.7225 but before doing any tests, please refresh the guide and i am hoping that you will then have the same outcome as @Mihail_RO

The channels mentioned here are not from my xmltv.
I have TVR1%20HD , TVR2%20HD, almost all of my channles contain this %20, and I can confirm they all work.
I also have found the channel Fishing & Hunting in my channel list, which has this %26 ( & ) besides the space ( %20 ), and it is working for me.

The problem was with encoded channel identifiers on the vbox iptv setup

Also, compared to the test version I have been using, the channel loading is much faster.

The PMS has not been updated, I am still at the version 1.32.6.7371, but probably the Plex Player has, because again , the channels are not opening. On windows PC, the channels work only with HTPC and from the browser version, and not with the Plex for Windows App. Also on Google TV is not working, and neither on Android Phone app.
Itās really annoyingā¦
I am really tired of this.
On August 4th you confirmed the fix in PMS did resolve the tuning issues with channels that had extended characters - was that test limited to some Plex clients?
If there are still issues - they need to be investigated in the same way as we investigated the original problem with diagnostics from the server and the client apps
Are you saying that a plex client that tuned ok on the 4th August is no longer tuning?
We had the following releases for the Plex Desktop app
18th July - version 1.74.1
1st August - version 1.75.0
15th August - version 1.76.2
I can make the 1.75.0 and 1.74.1 releases available to you if you donāt have them to try out and see if the issue is to do with a client update
If it is, would be good to get Plex Desktop App logs and debug Server logs from the working one and the also the failing one

Hi,
I tested then all available players. Android Phone, Google TV app, Samsung Tizen, LG webos, windows plex player ( I did not test Plex HTPC for windows , but this works now ).
They all worked then.
Now, since a few days Google TV app is not tuning anymore, Android Phone app is not tuning since a few weeks ago, but blamed it then on other factors. Now more and more apps are not wokring, and most important for me the Googgle TV app is not working. I do not really use the Windows Plex app, and have no idea how to downgrade the Google TV app.
I can make some tests and provide you the logs using the google tv.
I tested now also the Samsung Tizen, and it is working. Cannot test LG webos yet, it might be working too, The problem mainly seems to be around android/google apps.

I tried many channels using Google TV in the beginningā¦ Only one of them worked ( Diva )
Then Android Phone app, which was even worse. I clicked a channel, and nothing happened. Only one channel has shown me the tuning error. The rest of them just did not respond to the click.
At the end I used Samsung Tizen, which tuned in the first attempt.
