I am going to chat with operations now.

@yevaman44

Let the server sit idle. Plex.tv team is looking at it now.

@ChuckPa Ok I am waiting here for the rest of the operations :smiley:

ok I dont touch anything

@yevaman44

The Plex.tv team has forced the refresh.

Please restart the server now

I just restarted and can use the server from my mobile device, but https://app.plex.tv/desktop#!/settings/web/general still shows “unable to connect to XXXX” in the sidebar

@runfaj

Your DEBUG server logs ZIP file will be needed to diagnose.

What you have stated so far isn’t enough to go on.

@ChuckPa Same Problem… I’m cursed… :slight_smile:
I’m a little disapointed… Seems to be no solution :frowning: :frowning:

@yevaman44

Fresh logs please. I will give direct to the engieer

@ChuckPa Here they are !

here’s mine for plex web from app.plex.tv - the server in question is “monster”. server_log-monster.txt (141.9 KB)

Here’s the ones from the localhost server logs Plex Media Server Logs_2020-10-05_11-05-18.zip (1.6 MB)

@runfaj

Settings - SERVER - Troubleshooting - Download Logs

That ZIP file please.

yessir - updated above (you typed faster than chrome could download them :slight_smile: )

@runfaj

Now you can go turn DEBUG logging back on. (we have it on as the default).
Logs are fixed size so you are not wasting space. I cannot help you with “ERROR/INFO” only logs.

You will need to recreate the whole scenario after you check the box to enable DEBUG logging (keep VERBOSE logging OFF )

Could you check mine too please?

@Honeyedice

DEBUG logs captured 2 minutes after startup -Or- confirm for me you have “404” error codes in your logs ?

There are too many variables with Remote Access. I need to know what I’m dealing with

Hi @ChuckPa I have problems connecting to my server from outside my local network.

Server Synology DS412+
Player Version#: Version 8.7.1.2031
Server Version#: Version 1.20.1.3252
Plex Media Server Logs_2020-10-05_19-14-56.zip (2.9 MB)

Hi I hope someone can help me.

I have been having problems getting remote access to my Plex server on my Synology NAS DS412+

I have setup port forwarding on my router from my external IP address on port 32400 to my internal IP address on port 32400 but it says its online for 5 sec after that it says, not available from outside your network.

I have also tried to setup UPnP and not even that helps.

I have configurated public IP address for my router and my NAS server is connected to my router
directly.

I just want to say that my server has been working for 2 years but for 4 - 5 days ago it stopped working.

I have closed down my server for 2 min the started it again and download logs.

Hope someone can help me.

Here’s those updated ones. Plex Media Server Logs_2020-10-05_11-18-02.zip (1.3 MB) Plex as a service keeps locking me out, so I have to restart my whole machine every other time. This was captured about 1 min after windows logged in.
