Episodes are fine. Went to add subtitles, but seems to refuse to add the English subs. The 2xChinese and Japanese subs are internal to the MKV file. Added the English as an external, but seems to just ignore them.
Subtitles are just .eng.ass
I literally just copied and pasted the episode filename while adding .eng (even tried .en) to the filename.
I tried renaming it to .srt to see if it was a problem with the ASS subtitle format, but did nothing. Plex still won’t pick it up
Edit: LOL, did the Plex dance (remove show, update, clean/bundles blah blah, add show back) and now it won’t even add the show back
I was able to fix it. I have another show of the same name but with a year: The Way of the Househusband (2021). I had to remove that then do plex dance, then add this show (which finally picked up the show and subs), then add back in the (2021) show.
Not sure what caused this particular show to do this. I recently added another shows that had same name but with a year, but had no issue with that show.
