Sweet Fades overlaps from one into two tracks simultaneously

Server Version#: 4.145.1
Player Version#: Plexamp 4.12.0 (MacOS)

Something in Plexamp 4.12 got sweet fades to be overly greedy. It seems to be intermittent, but as a fade from one track into the next is occurring it will sometimes fade from one into the next two tracks playing simultaneously. Up until now this has has worked fine. Has anyone else noticed this? This is from one of my more ambient playlists so perhaps low and slow audio is partly the reason.

This is the log from earlier when it happened. I was listening to:

Boards of Canada - Kid for Today

Which faded into: (at around 12:30pm)

user18081971 - 4 red calx[slo]
AND
Autechre - Nine

Edit: This particular track set overlap is reproducible.

Here is another instance. Like before it was a 44.1/16 ALAC into 320 MP3 & 44.1/16 ALAC.

This set was:

Two Lone Swordsmen - Hope We Never Surface

Fading into:

user18081971 - 7 lush slow blips
AND
Lukid - Makes

This issue appears to only affect the MacOS version of Plexamp (4.12.0). Playing back the same playlist with the same sequence of tracks doesn’t cause an overlap on iOS.

Thanks for the logs and the good report, we’ll have a look!

I think this issue should be fixed in the next release, but I’d like to confirm that with you. DM me your email and I can give you access to the beta.

After a few listens with the problematic tracks it sounds like the overlapping is fixed in the upcoming release. Thanks!
