I suspect issues with the Tidal API, since i noticed some wonkiness on the Roon end as well. On Volumio they show up no problem, but their API is more up to date since they have new Tidal HiRes FLAC support.

Edit: interesting I found a missing recent single by Green Day by searching for the song name on Plexamp, but it doesnā€™t show up on discography page at all.

Is there any progress on this issue? There are many examples across the forum and at this point it is rendering the Plex integration useless since I canā€™t actually maintain my library there.

With the new additions and new found missing tracks, my playlist is now up to 1395 tracks, with 186 visible in Plex. As in my previous post, the visible tracks in the playlist are from partially visible albums. Iā€™m glad to see that Plex is making steady progress on resolving this issue, hereā€™s hoping it all shows up soon!

Just keeping the thread alive & asking the Plex team to help with getting the remaining missing tracks into our libraries. Most of the new releases seem to be visible to Plex, but Iā€™ve still got 155 songs in Tidal that Plex canā€™t see. Thanks.

A few more albums/singles have had tracks appear, allowing them to be complete!

With these albums removed from the playlist, my TIDAL playlist has 1360 tracks, of which 190 tracks are visible in Plex. This number is up from before after removing the now complete albums, so there are new tracks in other albums as well. Unfortunately I havenā€™t been available to keep track of things for each individual track. As before, the visible tracks are from albums that are incomplete. Notably, none of the Sega rhythm game albums have had even a single track appear in Plex. This accounts for around 600 of the tracks, as there are a large number of CHUNITHM and maimai albums available on TIDAL. EDIT: It appears I was mistaken, and there are 4 CHUNITHM albums that are visible in Plex. These albums are not in the playlist though, so the numbers I have provided are still accurate. I do not see any maimai albums available in Plex.

Every album represented in this playlist has at least one track missing from Plex, with many of them being missing entirely. There are also a few singles in here that do appear in the playlist on Plex, but have a broken album page and as such cannot be found through Plex search or artist pages.

Hopefully things continue to improve and the Plex team can fully resolve this issue soon.

UPDATE: Since finding the 4 CHUNITHM albums available through Plex, I did another search on TIDAL. I have found more albums missing entirely from Plex. Every album I am about to list has 0 tracks available in Plex, and does not appear at all in searches.

These new additions to my playlist bring it up to 1536 tracks, still with 190 visible in Plex as all of these albums have 0 tracks visible. This is an increase of about 200 tracks, meaning CHUNITHM and maimai albums now account for about 800 of my missing tracks.

Really hoping this additional list of missing albums helps Plex nail down the root cause of the issue. Good luck, and thank you!

Some new albums came out under the maimai Music (Sega) label that are entirely unavailable in Plex. This lends even more evidence that there may be an issue with this specific label? These albums are more rhythm game soundtracks, same as the CHUNITHM and maimai albums I have listed previously, except this time for the game ONGEKI. The albums are as follows:

Adding these albums to me playlist, I am now at 1642 tracks. These albums added about 100 tracks from Sega rhythm games that are entirely unavailable on Plex, meaning these rhythm game albums now account for about 900 of my missing tracks.

Could we get an update on whether this issue is being looked into? Thanks!

Honestly it looks like Plex has stopped providing any support for this. I was getting replies on my thread about a similar issue but they stopped a couple months ago, and albums I reported as not working in November are still not working.

Beth Gibbons latest singles, donā€™t appear that all in Plexamp search.

Not in local library view or tidal only library.
The songs themselves appear.

Iā€™m here to bump this issue and keep it alive. Iā€™m seeing it more and more often with searches for tracks on Tidal. Iā€™ll find a song, click to Go to Album, and the Album will load forever and never display the tracks. The latest example of this is the album Gold by Tusks. If you go to the artistā€™s page, you usually donā€™t see the problematic album listed, but it is on Tidal.

A similar thing was discussed on the subreddit a while ago.

This is happening to me often enough to end up here after looking for an answer. New album released, unavailable on Plex, Tidal only. Album and tracks show up in plex search but once I click on themā€¦
