Trailers & Extras Mismatches

  • Movie Name and Year : Rakka (2017)
  • IMDB ID : tt6990734
  • Description : I added “Rakka (2017)” tt6990734 to my library and it matched some metadata/extras incorrectly to “Home Again (2017)” tt5719700. I fixed the match manually and all metadata appears to be correct, but the trailer is still for “Home Again (2017)."
  • Movie Name and Year : Space Jam 2: A New Legacy (2021)
  • IMDB ID : tt3554046
  • Description : shows Dutch trailer (or something idk) instead of German (other metadata is in German)

Movie Name and Year: In Cold Blood (1967)
IMDB ID : tt0061809
**Description: One of the trailers pulled for this movie is “Live In Cold Blood” which is a music video for Johnny Thunder’s song In cold Blood

Movie Name and Year: Trick or Treat (1952) with Donald Duck
IMDB ID: tt0045261
Description: Trailer that is provided automatically is for Trick 'r Treat from 2007. This is a huge issue when the movie is suppose to be a kids G rated movie but it plays a trailer for and R rated movie.

Harry Potter & the Philosophers Stone (2001)

Thanks for reporting these, please note that if you’re not using the modern “Plex Movie” agent then it’s unlikely any of those will get addressed unless it’s an issue upstream (with IVA) and both the legacy and modern agents are affected.

I reported the below well over a year ago and it still has yet to be fixed. I am using the new Plex Movie agent. I’d also be perfectly content to just hide/remove the trailer for that one film.

I gather you would have tried the Plex dance recently?

Every few months, yes. It generally works for me for metadata from like TMDB and TVDB. I am not entirely sure where Plex gets those trailers and extras from, but the dance doesn’t seem to help in this case. Thanks.
