I changed the Title in the m4v file and danced with Plex but the problem persists. I am now even more baffled because I know the “Season 2 Disc 1” string is not in the meta data of the file at all but it still shows up that way. I don’t think I even have Local Media assests enabled for TV Shows: …

There could be 2 reasons: you did not perform all steps of the Plex Dance or in the wrong order The tv show is not actually matched with the TheTVDB agent. Please post the Plex XML info of one of its episodes to verify this.

Thanks for your help. It seems to be working now. I had to do the Plex Dance twice to get it to work. I still am curious why some episodes were showing up correctly while others were not even though they all followed the same pattern.

In the Plex Dance we are asked to “Clean Bundles” … this is the one step that I couldn’t figure out how to do. Am I missing a button/link somewhere in the settings?

Remove the metadata from the m4v files, then plex dance. That or change the order of the agents. Make Local media assets at the bottom.
