TV Series Parser incorrectly detecting season\episode on certain date based names

The TV series parser appears to be incorrectly identifying date based episodes anytime the optional info\title has the sequence ‘#x#’, instead using that as the season\episode instead of the date. The episodes are named per the guide with series - date - episode name, and are in series folders by year which seem to be getting ignored by the parser. With the file properly labeled with the date as the episode id I would expect that to take precedence over the #x# in the optional info, but at a minimum I’d expect that it would get the season correct from the season folder.

  • Should be parsed Season 2015\Episode 2015-10-11, Instead is Season 1\Episode 1

  • Should be parsed Season 2016\Episode 2016-01-12, Instead is Season 68\Episode 7

Have you tried the Plex Dance after renaming these files?

I renamed the files before adding them to a new library, but to be thorough I did try what you suggested. I went through the whole plex dance steps, and after it completed scanning the files, I confirmed that the three mis-identified files I listed in the previous post were incorrectly identified again after the plex dance.

Try to have only one set of brackets, not two.
Ideally, enclose every number that has nothing to do with episode numbering in this singular set of brackets.
