I think I’ve tried most of the options. There is one Anime TV show that doesn’t show in mij server. I renamed the show to Plex standards. It came up for a second or 2, and then disappeared.
Sekirei is allready visible in the server, but Sekirei Pure Engagement is the problem case. Also tried a “-” between “Sekirei” and “Pure Engagement” without success.

Is there something I’m still doing wrong? All my other series show as they supposed to.
Enable your Windows Explorer to show file extensions.
Using MP4 Files?
Drag Local Media Assets to the bottom of all your Agent Lists for Shows and Movies. Embedded metadata in MP4 files will throw Plex into a tailspin.

New screen shows extensions and comparison to thetvdb. It looked whack because of the difference in series. Sekirei has 2 seperate series. The standard Sekirei, and the Sekirei: Pure Engagement
Using MKV extensions for all my movies and TV shows. Strange thing is that the show popped up for a couple of seconds and then vanished.. Files a definetly still on the anime disk.
I’m managing my server remotely from my laptop through DNS. All media carriers (disks) are physicaly in my server, only mapped to my laptop for easy access
“Sekirei Pure Engagement” is not a separate show.
It is simply Season 02 of “Sekirei”.
The custom to give later seasons a separate title or an addition to the original show’s title is ignored on TheTVDB.
If the “show” is a story continuation, it gets added as a later season into the original show.
And it makes sense, because you don’t want to watch “Pure Engagement” before watching “Sekirei”.
Roger that. I assumed Sikerei would be the proper name, due to the fact that Pure Engagement has no artwork, posters or descriptions associated with it at TVDB leading me to believe the episodes were out of whack. They were - at least as far as TVDB is concerned.
Here’s where that old saying comes in:
“TVDB is always right - even when they’re not”.
Plex Dance that whole show now and all will be well (we hope). You have a little bogusity going on in that bundle that needs a re-do:
Excellent news, but illustrating the lengths we’ll go to get things working right, I just Plex Danced Season 5 of Mystery Science Theater 3000 when I noticed 24 episodes, but Plex told me I only had 22, before I discovered I was missing episodes 11 and 12. Now my PMS is fully involved generating those video preview thumbs I torpedoed with a Plex Dance - and will be for some time.
