TV Show Archer S3 Episode Titles and Description Mismatch

Hi,

Archer Season 3 using the Plex TV Series scanner and agent gets the episode description mixed up. I did set the metadata title for each files also, and those match the files appropriately.

For example, S03E01 should be something like:

“After the death of his fiancé, Archer goes missing for three months. Malory sends a former agent named Rip Riley to find him and bring him back. With Archer’s resistance, he ends up stranding them out at sea and mixing them up with pirates.”

However, Plex shows that information for S03E06 instead. The thumbnails are likewise mixed up. Any idea what is wrong?

I use tmdb episode ordering for this show and they match correctly once you name the files correctly. The Heart of Archness episodes are considered specials, see the link for details → Archer: Season 0 — The Movie Database (TMDB)

So, Archer - S00E03, Archer - S00E04 and Archer - S00E05 would be how you name those episodes.

Looking at tvdb does the same Archer (2009) - Aired Order - Specials - TheTVDB.com

You may need to plex dance the show if you have manually done edits.

No problem. For your reference, Plex can use episode ordering from TMDB or TVDB but not IMDB.

IMDB is extremely inaccurate when it comes to TV series.
