I recently added a few TV shows to a new TV show library. At first it was mostly a mess, but I i systematically organized and named my files according to the Media Preparation guidelines. Things started falling into place with metadata being downloaded for all the shows…
…with the exception of the Artwork for Band of Brothers. I have tried everything I can think of and made sure that everything should be in order for metadata download from thetvdb.com , but it just will not get the artwork. What am I missing? This is driving me crazy
Go to Settings - Server - Agents - Shows - TheTVDB
In there, grab the line ‘Local Media Assets’ with your mouse and drag it downwards, so it ends up being at the bottom of the stack of active agents.
Repeat the same under
Settings - Server - Agents - Shows - TheMovieDatabase

Settings - Server - Agents - Movies - Plex Movie
+
Settings - Server - Agents - Movies - TheMovieDatabase
Afterwards, perform the Plex Dance with the whole show.
Alright, so I did as you suggested and followed the Plex Dance…and it worked…on two other shows…but not for Band of Brothers. However, I tried un-matching it, and when when matching it again I actually discovered that there were to identical sources; one that did not download artwork…and one that did So now I have artwork on all my series. Thanks!
