Two Versions of a TV Episode showing in Plex. Only one file exists within the season folder.

Hello all,

I did try searching for this.

Plex server:1.3.4.3285

Plex is showing a blue number two of one of my recent TV show episodes. I have checked the directory and only one copy of the episode exists. Attempted to refresh the library and it is still showing.

Can anyone advise how to force Plex to check so the 2 is not displayed?

Do a “Get Info” on the episodes. That’ll show you the paths PMS thinks the two copies have. If one of them doesn’t exist anymore, empty the trash. That should resolve it.

Thank you for the reply. I checked the Info Button and the paths are identical (Files). Stupid question but how do I empty the Trash?
Edit: Emptied the Trash. refreshed the library, still the same.

Worked round the issue. Moved the episode to a different drive.
Updated the Library
Emptied the Trash
Moved file back in.
Updated Library

I just had an issue where only the Plex Dance helped, so maybe try that?
