Me too, I have gone through all the DVR deleting rescanning etc. Nothing works.
Makes the system useless.

…this is the alternative script I believe I referred to a while back (aside from SchedulesDirect/NextPVR).

The issue where airings show as blocks of “xxxxx Programming” has now been fixed.
A full manual refresh of the guide is needed to correct the data

@JCHH sweet! Once I’m back up and running I’ll be checking out everything! New CPU, motherboard and RAM are on the way, just a bill I didn’t need this for to moving eh? Ah, but the things we have to do to keep the kids and family happy!!

Can someone check why freeview channel 96 Forces TV is permanently showing Forces TV Programming, the channel guide for this station is fine elsewhere.

Yes, same here. Channel 4 HD is showing channel 4 programming for Sunday 18th onwards whereas the neighbouring channels have programme info. It looks like the issue has come back?
Beyond this basic issue, the quality of the metadata info for the UK guide is poor - series numbers / episode numbers are all over the place, new vs repeat tags are incorrect, there’s no episode description for what feels like 50% of programmes. It’s a really poor experience compared to the pretty much perfect previous EPG-switchover experience which I couldn’t fault and knew I could depend on. Not the case now.
Can the Plex team see an issue with the xxxxx programming problem again and also what can be done to improve the poor quality data when the EPG does work? Thanks.
The problem has been reported to our team. I am aware of overlapping airings in the schedule giving rise to this for channel 4, E4, Drama, Yesterday
Guide data for channel 96 Forces TV is starting from Saturday 24th August. A full guide refresh should show this
Daily manual refreshes no longer working. ITV now peppered with “ITV 1 Network Programming”. I have tried deleting and reinstalling the DVR but no change.
Plex is becoming impossible to rely on. I have an episode of a series I record weekly - today Plex will not do it as all I am offered is “ITV 1 Network Programming” which cannot be recorded.
Is it not time to admit that a return to Gracenote is required as the current EPG provider is unable to manage even the 5 main channels in the UK.

Similar issues here, we find it unreliable and see Network programming quite often. The old PVR continues in service and never has a missing EPG, Plex was suppose to be an upgrade to it but is not turning out that way.
I’m currently looking into programming my own DVR solution (I like a project) which will bypass Plex DVR completely, use the Freeview EPG and reintroduce accurate recording, Plex will then just revert back to being the “app” that plays and streams content.
There are also other solutions out there, NextPVR seems to work well and is free and certainly worth a go and it uses the Freeview EPG data. Of course you lose some of the fluffy stuff with other solutions, like artwork in the library, but at the end of the day a DVR is there to record and playback programs, the fluffy stuff you look at for a few seconds so it’s not required.
Sorry Plex, but garbage in is garbage out, you need to sort out your data provider.

How did you do this? I have been using NextPVR as my primary for the last couple of months but it uses SchedulesDirect. I would prefer it to use Freeview.
I beleive you are uing V5 of NextPVR, I am still on v4 so might be slightly different
Go into Settings and then Channels, if you then view the details of a channel there should be a source drop down box, change this to DVB/ATSC EPG
Be aware that Freeview EPG does not have Season/Episode numbers so might get issues with series link

Indeed it doesn’t make use of the extended data (CRIDs) that appears in the Freeview Guide so series linking doesn’t work, I think that was one of the reasons I didn’t go with it (I’ve tried quite a few, hence rolling my own).
Yes, v5 - I am on a Mac so v5 is the version that works.
I wouldn’t want Freeview without the series/episode info though.
Hi there, i’ve completely uninstalled and reinstalled and i’m just constantly getting the same just rubbish about ITV1 Network Progamming. All coronation street has entirely stopped recording along with some other shows that i’m interested in. I’ve constantly tried manual epg refreshes and it’s still total rubbish, completely re-set up my DVR and still rubbish. Help please 
I agree - coverage of ITV is absulutely awful at the moment. Series are no longer recording. In order to record programs on that channel they require heavy manual interventions and renaming of recordings to correctly identify them. The reliability and coverage of BBC, ITV, CHR and CH5 stations must be an absolute minimum for any DVR in the UK.
This requires urgent action by Plex and their EPG provider.
