I have the have the same problem with Prison Break.
My files layout is “Prison Break S01E01 Pilot.MP4”
Doesn’t recognise it.
I’ve had to manually input the data for each episode.
go into the prison break show in plex
in the top right corner there are three dots click on that
select fix match
this will bring up a search screen click on search options
in the show name delete prison break and paste in 360115
then perform the search.
prison break will come up and click on it
that will then start to fill in the show data.

The LMA Hack - to keep Plex from preferring those bogus embedded title fields in your MP4 file:
Refresh Metadata - or Plex Dance - after you’ve made the file name and structuring repairs (FOR THE ENTIRE SHOW) and performed The LMA Hack.

I had this same issue and your fix worked for me. How did you get that title ID though? for me all I get is the SEF version if I search on the TVDB site itself:

I don’t know how you can identify the ID from that.

You will have to view ‘the front page’ for the show…
Much like ‘Fix Match’ won’t work buried in seasons or episodes…lol
I used the ‘bread crumbs’ in your link to lead me ‘home’…

I should have thought of that. I think before the TVDB redesign, the series ID was in the URL.

I think you’re right…
Just an FYI…
In the last month I have found where the TVDB has changed the release year of many shows ± one year…
So if you had My Show (2005) and add to it a new season or episode all of a sudden you can’t get things to match (Not only with Plex) because TVDB now has it as My Show (2004)…
They moved the Three Stooges from 1934 to 1930. Awesome.
I’ll have to check again, they moved that one 3 times already…
EDIT: I’m good at 1930…
This is one of about 30 titles I know of in the last month they have changed…
Some back to what they were originally…

This is the Fix, The original entry for Prison Break was removed for some reason and the API must have issues searching for it. Here is the relevant link to the forum post on TVDB.
