Use of filename insted of the scaned name?

Hi,
I have been going through a lot of forums and did not find kind of a solution to my “issue”.
Is there a functionality to have the name of the file as the title, but still use the agents normally?
For example:
I have the movie Crank and use the TheMovieDB agent to get all the metadata which works fine.
I then but want to be using the filename, which is “Crank - DE”, as the title name, so that when a user goes through the library, they directly see in what language the movie is.
I tried locking the title after changing it but it never stays. Plex keeps chagning it to either “Crank” or “Crank de”.

How can I solve this? Is there a functionality I might not know about?

Thanks for you help.

There is no functionality to support this - do you store multiple version in different langauges?

I always only have one version so for example crank would only be in german and there would be no other version.
I think the main issue that I am having is the lock not being enforced and plex renaming the titles over and over again.
Does it make a different to have different languages in one library?

Nah, you can have multiple languages in one library, when you load the movie into it will tel you the langauge anyway

ok, that’s good to now, thank you
do you happen to know if there might be a plugin for the “File name functionality”?
