You are correct. There was an update on 2/3/2022, but it didn’t fix the android player issue. Had to downgrade again and turn off auto update.

Noticed a beta android release, 8.30.0 posted on 2/82022. Unfortunately, this one doesn’t fix the photo folder video player issue.

down grade your client to a known good version and turn off automatic upgrades. the latest updates to the android tv client did not fix the issue. i keep a copy of both my client and my server apps in a folder called ‘last known working plex app’
