Continuing the discussion from New Xbox One App preview:
I’m having an interesting new issue with the Xbox one x Plex app. This is a connection to a remote shared media server.
In general, I can’t get past the 2hr mark on any movies before it crashes. I’ve tried reinstalling, leaving the preview, and playing lower quality versions of the movies with no luck. This is only a recent occurrence over the past few months, but something is clearly not functioning properly. No real buffer issues, just a hard stop. I’ve also tried disabling direct play as that was suggested elsewhere online, but that did not resolve the issue and caused additional buffering throughout the movie.
Anyone else experiencing something similar or have a fix?
