Oh, 100% isn’t easy. Wasn’t trying to imply that either. Only mentioned the numbering as currently it has 5/3/20 which is incorrect.
Thank you.

I can see that it is linked to Horizon instead of being a separate series - I have referred it to our provider
Also:
The Great Celebrity Bake Off for Stand Up to Cancer - 10/03/2019 @ 8PM 004 , 104 then on +1 I’m assuming - Should be S03E01. Episode name correct. Looks to be another episode on the 17th that should be S03E02 when guide data gets that far.
This has been amended for tomorrow’s airing. ![]()
One thing I’ve noticed, is the Series+Episode numbers haven’t changed in the Recording Priority?
Still isn’t marked as NEW, so going to have to change the series settings to 'New and Repeat Airings`, then revert back later. ![]()
It is timing. Some changes cannot be picked up in time. I can see it is fixed in today’s data file that we get from our provider but that would only get ingested this evening - so cannot be processed in time
Yeah, I understand that. Just unfortunate, but can work around it today if I change the setting after 5PM. ![]()
Gardeners’ World - 20/03/2019 @ 8:30PM 002 , 102 - New series/season, so maybe should be S53E1?
Only way for this to change was to reschedule. I was going to do that anyway as I only scheduled one episode originally. I changed it to a series recording for all NEW episodes. ![]()
Seems like once it’s in the recording priority, the poster art (for series and one off episode recordings) and SSEE numbers + episode name for one off recordings, don’t update if changed on the EPG.
For one off episode recordings, the text could use the same layout as series recordings. Maybe change the SSEE numbers + episode name part to one red dot then “Episode” beside it. Remove it from recording priority after successful recording? Then just have to look into poster art changing, when changed on the EPG. Not too important, but just some feedback. ![]()
This should be ok now. The 11th March airing adjustment was not correct. The 17th March airing is ok
Thanks for the update!
^ not sure if reported/investigated already, but still showing S52E33 for me.
Police Interceptors - 16/03/2019 @ 8PM 005 , 105, then +1 - Should be S17E8, numbering seems to be one behind and currently shows S17E7.

Thanks
I have referred this to our provider. Thanks for reporting it

Thanks for reporting this. I will refer it to our server team
Thanks for that. I added this extra bit of info and feedback that you might have saw. If you did, thanks as usual! ![]()

@Jakosaur - did you at the time use any other plex client apps and see if same issue appeared in Recording Priority there as well ?
Just wondering if this is a Plex Web issue as opposed to the server
I didn’t at the time, but can reproduce if needed. I can cancel the Gardeners’ World series and just schedule that one episode. Hopefully the provider gets the numbers changed, then we can see ![]()
Just an example of the poster art not updating in the recording priority. Can confirm I can see the old poster art on iOS too.
Will try reproduce the other issue regarding the numbering but probably could just be replaced in the future with the bottom paragraph in the below quote, on all platforms overtime. Then just seeing if it’s possible to change the poster art, but all is up for discussion by the team and bug tracking this fault first. ![]()
Whilst setting up to reproduce, you can now see the updated poster art in the recording priority. Also currently showing S52E33, as expected due to the current EPG numbering.
Any idea what other platform shows the series and episode numbering in the recording priority? ![]()
It does not appear to be possible to compare with others since only date is displayed
Lets repeat using Plex Web for next but also try to refresh the browser with F5 - need to eliminate any Plex Web caching issues where it is using its data from local storage
I saw the EPG was updated, so have tried on two different browsers that haven’t loaded Plex Web before and both show S53E1 for the airing, but still S52E33 in the Recording Priority. So I think Poster Art and Airing details in the Recording Priority don’t get updated.
Thanks for the confirmation. I am doing tests myself and it does appear to be a Plex Media Server issue
@sa2000 21/03/2020 - Ant & Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway 003, 103 @ 7PM (& +1 if applicable) is listed as S16E4 . All episodes seems to be 1 off, as it should be Episode 5 tonight. Episode 4 was last weekend. Next weekend looks wrong too.
That show was recorded as a partial recording. 60 mins instead of 1hr 30mins. Says The recording was cancelled?

Horizon - 23/03/2020 002,102 @ 9PM - should be S2020E4
Police Interceptors - 30/03/2020 005, 105 @ 8PM then +1 - should be S17E10. Odd as this weeks’ episode is correct as S17E9 so not sure as to why the change in number sequencing the week after.
Gordon, Gino and Fred’s Road Trip - 02/04/2020 003, 103 @ 9PM then +1? - not sure about S1E4 as it’s a new series, under a different name? https://www.itv.com/presscentre/ep1week14/gordon-gino-fred-american-road-trip#
