21/03/2020 - Ant & Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway 003, 103 @ 7PM (& +1 if applicable) is listed as S16E4 . All episodes seems to be 1 off, as it should be Episode 5 tonight. Episode 4 was last weekend. Next weekend looks wrong too.

I have reported this to our provider

Police Interceptors - 30/03/2020 005, 105 @ 8PM then +1 - should be S17E10 . Odd as this weeks’ episode is correct as S17E9 so not sure as to why the change in number sequencing the week after.

Gordon, Gino and Fred’s Road Trip - 02/04/2020 003, 103 @ 9PM then +1? - not sure about S1E4 as it’s a new series, under a different name?

For this it is probably early - hopefully it will correct itself closer the time. If not let me know

Horizon - 23/03/2020 002,102 @ 9PM - should be S2020E4

This looks like a TVDB error. What shows as episode 3 on tvdb was separated by BBC into a separate series

There are only 3 Horizon episodes in 2020 according to the BBC two web site

and the episode that thetvdb as S2020 E03 “Child of our time: Turning 20” was already reported in the forum as not being Horizon and was moved out - in line with the BBC information

Yup, you’re right! Sorry, totally forgot about that odd episode I reported. Have moved it from S2020 on thetvdb. Sorry!

That show was recorded as a partial recording. 60 mins instead of 1hr 30mins. Says The recording was cancelled ?

The recording started at 18:59
The server seems to have got restarted at 19:29 - possibly after a crash -
I can see you have crash reporting disabled

So it recorded 30 minutes then a crash
On restart it started recording again and ended up with the partial recording

We need to establish what the crash was

Enabled it. Also had 3 recordings yesterday, with no crashes. Will it upload any previous crashes before being enabled?

I believe it would try - if still running on same version. The Plex Crash Uploader log files would indicate if it attempted to do that

I’ve been recording a few new shows (not in my library before recording), and noticing the below behavior again.

What’s happening is my TV Shows Library is set in Edit → Advanced, for Seasons to Show . So I’m expecting a show with only 1 season to still show the seasons available as clickable options. Rather than just showing the episodes for that one season (which is expected from Hide for single-season series in the Libraries’ Edit → Advanced, but that’s not what the library is set to).

Correct Behaviour:

Current/Incorrect Behaviour (With only one episode showing when trying to reproduce):

When a show that hasn’t ever been in my library before has finished recording, it puts it in my library as usual. But doesn’t seem to use the Library setting to show Seasons. It automatically sets it to Hide not Library Default so you have to manaully change the new shows’ settings to Library Default . Only seems to happen on DVR Shows that haven’t ever been in your library.

I’ve only seen this happen on Plex Web, so not sure whether this transfers to other platforms but just annoying when you’ve specified the library to show Seasons, even for Single Season Series.

This update I installed today seems to have broken my access to what is scheduled to record. I’m trying to cancel a series that I finally have all the episodes of. Then I get the page saying unexpected error and to come here. No other information on the screen.

@sa2000 Seems Freeview guide website is showing as S2E1 under the same name. Some guides showing the episode name as The Three Amigos (Mexico) whilst others as just The Three Amigos like the Plex guide.

Should be either What Happens in Vegas (USA) or What Happens in Vegas depending on what they choose to use. I think the country in brackets is to show what country each episode is in as episode one I think is Mexico.

I have passed that on. I see that the channel TV schedule here ITV TV Guide - View Listings & What's On TV Tonight - ITVX - ITVX only goes up to the 7th April

This turned out to be right - The City Slickers. You can confirm it after the 9th

ITV had this embargoed press release - embargoed till 31 march. So thetvdb info was not based on factual data

I have asked our provider to look into their feed for BBC 2 to establish why the episode title is missing the " - Part 1" text

Recording failed to start at 20:29PM today. I realised I think sometime after 20:40PM. Tried to load BBC2HD through Plex, same tuner error. Then Plex “apparently” started recording in the Activity button/dropdown.

Plex Server settings shows 1 tuner in use, but HDHomeRun shows no tuners are in use.

.grab folder also empty.

Will upload logs if/when Plex says it isn’t recording.
EDIT: 4 minutes after, still isn’t showing as ended. Empty folder still there.

@sa2000 Is it worth investigating this? Seems a little odd
