Two files in the same folder for the same episode, by mistake due to a metadata issue by another program. One was E02, one was E03. E03 was mistakenly saved as E02, so Plex then showed 2 files for E02. I renamed the wrong file to E03, Plex separated them but wasn’t unwatched for me. When I marked it as unwatched, E02 changed too. E03 had the same original airing date as E02. Was really weird.
Had to remove file, scan library, empty trash and move back into library folder.
Hi sa2ooo, I’m still experiencing very slow channel tuning of up to 30 seconds when I select a channel and start a live stream. Has any progress been made on how this issue could be solved?
Going to try out DVR again soon, so hopefully won’t have any issues!

Are these changes only for new content that haven’t been analysed for intro detection, or does existing content get re-analysed maybe during maintenance?
If the 2nd option, do we still have to go through each season/episode to Analyze?
Really enjoying the feature, and hope one day non-managed Plex Home users can use the feature too! Working well for me with DVR!
Thanks for that. Scheduled tasks had checked for intros prior to the server update in question.
I see it says The server may not be able to detect intros for every show perfectly, but we’ll continue to improve and refine the detection.
When the feature is updated/improved/refined, does the server automatically check for intros again during Scheduled Tasks on library content already checked previously, or does it require me to manually analyse content again? Thanks! Apologies if I missed the answer to this.

Slow channel switching / tuning is getting really slow. Much longer than 30 secs. I’ve have cleared most of my scheduled recordings but it does not seem to help.
My HDHomeRuns have been retuning themselves (as they should be), but Plex didn’t automatically assign guide channels even though they’re available. Not sure if it’s meant to automatically assign guide channels, but hasn’t seem to with the last UK Freeview Sky Arts and Pick TV channel # guide change for me.
