Gives me an idea to help focus the diagnosis.
In Plug-ins, you see System.bundle . With PMS stopped, move it somewhere and let a new one download. Just a hunch but, if true, coincides with another idea.

A deleted that in my “sollution”. Than PMS had downloaded a new one. I think its the same as move it to another location. In both case PMS will download a new set. But as i said it was not enough. After restarting PMS, the Match function still not working. I had to restart the whole server to get it working again. But when i restart the server without removing this bundle, the Match still not works. So the problem is somewhere in this bundle.
If it were in the bundles themselves, everyone would have the problem. What is escaping all of us is what’s unique to you and why is it so difficult to identify.
I don’t know. But what i know, for me the only possible (till now) sollution is to delete completely the bundle, let the PMS to download it again, and reboot completely the server. But after some time it stops again. So, the problem is somewhere there i think.
This solution didn’t work for me. It seems like a few people are having this issue. Are they working on fixing this?
I am also having the problem. I wish I could just have the option to provided the IMDB url and then have plex pull it.
I just saw this… Apologies for being busy.
The dev team has found what broke the NFO processing for the NFO importer plugin and fixed it. That’s on its way to being released (very shortly).
With regard to being able to provide the IMDB info.
You can always do this:
[chuck@lizum Zero Days (2016).141]$ cat *.nfo
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt4425200
[chuck@lizum Zero Days (2016).142]$
In this example. It makes my movie “Zero Days” appear as if “John Wick 2”.
This works because PMS searches for the tt number in the string and uses it.
Please let me know if you have any difficulties.
This problem is still occurring on my MacPro server - the search function does not work for all new movies added to the database over the last week or so. Has the fix been released yet?
It’s not been released yet. I spent the day helping do QA.

Trying to do this using Abraham Lincoln, Vampire Hunter (2012) as a examples.
When I open the NFO, I have a entry for
    <id>tt1611224</id>
    <id moviedb="imdb">tt1611224</id>
    <imdbid>tt1611224</imdbid>
    <id moviedb="tmdb">72331</id>
    <id moviedb="themoviedb">72331</id>
    <tmdbid>72331</tmdbid>
Thank you for that info.
There is a hotfix in the process of being released. There was a regression with importing NFO data and the XBMC agent. PMS natively only accepts the format I showed. The XMBC plug-in accepts XML input as you have it (plus more).
The QA lead told me today they’re about to start running the test suite. Please just give 1-2 days for that to complete and you’ll see it in Plex Pass.
I would not download 1.4.1 as it will be fully deprecated at that time.
The recently released Version 1.4.2.3400 does allow PLEX to supposedly find the correct movie, but it is not importing any information about the movie or the correct posters or backdrop. What settings do I have wrong?
Can you show me an example directory listing of one which isn’t importing any information and the NFO? It has been confirmed in the XBMC importer thread that it’s now working. We can work at it here or there whichever you deem most appropriate.
So it’s been fixed?
From all indications I have, yes.
If you’re still having the problem, please repeat the attempts and then capture the logs (settings - server - help -download logs) and attach that zip here.
Thanks ChuckPA for the update. I updatet yesterday my server with the new version, and since that the match function seems to be working fine. Will se after a few days… I really hope that my problem is solved with that.

Hi, still not working for me. I’ve attached the logs
My server version is 1.3.4.3285. Where do i get 1.4.2.3400?
From the downloads page, under Plex Pass downloads
Thanks. It wasn’t coming through Updates but i downloaded and installed 1.4.2.3400 and the issue still persists. I’ve attached the log files
I see a number of things going on in there. Can you point me to what you are now specifically attempting to match?
