How to Report EPG Errors

Are you noticing inaccuracies with the electronic program guide in Plex Live TV & DVR? (PMS Version 1.21.0.3711 or newer.) You can help us quickly report problems to our metadata partner by providing us with information on your channel lineup. While we will make every effort to resolve lineup inaccuracies, we can’t provide any guarantees, estimated time for resolution, or personally respond to every report. Thanks for taking the time to help improve the Plex EPG for your area.

Please review these steps before submitting your report:

1. If the Live TV source is missing from the side bar, you need to re-pin it to your side bar. Go to the bottom of the side bar and select more, then locate the “Live TV” entry under your Plex Media Server in the list and pin it.
2. If the Live TV source is available, but you don’t see the lineup from your DVR, access the guide settings at the top of the guide and ensure that your DVR/server are enabled under Manage Guide Sources.
3. Try a manual EPG refresh by going to the Live TV & DVR settings in the Plex Web App and click Refresh Guide.

If, after checking the above, you see inaccuracies in your program guide, raise a forum post by creating a topic in this forum category, providing the following information:

Please Title the topic with unique info like postal code, country, state etc. Please avoid generic titles like “Missing Channel” instead name it something like “Missing OTA channel X in Boston MA”

• What the actual problem or inaccuracy is with any related screenshots
• The lineup name (you’ll find the lineup name on the Live TV & DVR settings page under CHANNEL SOURCES ) - see screenshot below
• Channel number and channel name
• For airing issues, the airing times, time zone, movie or show/series and episode titles
• Your country
• Postal code
• Region/market
• Version of Plex Media Server in use

Notes about lineup names:

• For Over The Air broadcasts, the lineup for your postal code will be “Local Broadcast Listings” or a Freeview lineup. In some countries this may be through a provider with its own lineup. Please provide the name of the lineup and country, postal code, and region/market.
• For cable broadcasts, the cable provider name and region would be required together with the URL for the web page giving the channel list for the service for that area.
