I give up, how do wipe pms off and start fresh

Some things to note when claiming a Plex server:

  1. When claiming the server, use a system on the same local network as the Synology.
  2. Using a private/incognito window, point the browser directly at the NAS: http://nas_ip_address:32400/web. The private window disables any ad/cookie blockers that may interfere with the claiming process.
  3. Do not click on the “open” button in Package Center, do not use Synology Quick Connect, a DDNS service, or a fully qualified domain name when attempting to claim the server.
  4. The NAS must have Internet access and be able to communicate with plex.tv hosts. If Internet access is not available, the server cannot be claimed.

Also,

  1. The server should use RFC-1918 addressing (an address of 192.168.x.x; 172.16.x.x to 172.16.31.x.x, or 10.x.x.x).
  2. If you are remote from the server, you must first establish a SSH tunnel to the server before claiming. See the One A Different Network section of Installation for details.
