Impossible to claim my PMS on Synology DS415Play

Hi Plex Community,

This is my first topic on this forum, please forgive me if I miss any rule or needed info to indicate.

I have a NAS Synology DS415play running with DSM 6.2.2-24922 Update 4.
A couple of months ago, PMS was perfectly working but, meanwhile, I updated my NAS and changed my internet provider and PMS wasn’t working anymore.

I tried reinstalled without any success.
I then uninstalled PMS, delete all files in the Plex folder and, then, reinstalled (first from DSM library and, then, manuelly updated to 1.18.9.2571-e106a8a91-x86. But, even if I went a step further, at first start, I’m not able to claim the server and link it with my account. By the way, it indicates that an update is available while I installed the latest version available.

The most similar topic I found is this one (in french), but my NAS is indeed connected to internet (since able to get a package - don’t know how to test further).

Does anyone have an idea on what I’m doing wrong?

Upront thanks for your help!

Thanks trumpy81 for your feedback.
Unfortunately, the issue remains the same in both cases (I also tried to restrat the NAS).
By the way, I still get the same update version message whereas already up to date (in case it means something).

If I may augment Trumpy’s post, This is a big “stronger” medication for the problem.

Take your time as you go through it.

Sorry fir the lte reply (these last days were very busy) and thanks ChuckPa for the pointer to this FAQ.

Nevertheless, even after following strictly the steps mentionned in it several times, when I connect to “http://server_IP_address:32400/web/”, it always redirects me to “http://server_IP_address:32400/web/index.html#!/client-setup” and it doesn’t load anything:

Any idea?

Upfront thanks for any help.

Now for my famous question:

May I have the log files please?

Of course!
Here they are:
Logs.zip (271.8 KB)

Upfront thanks for the time spent investigating.

Thanks for your feedback, trumpy81!

My NAS and my computer are both plugged (through RJ45 cable for the first and wi-fi for the second) to a netgear router (which is wired to my internet access provider box). Hence, first hypothesis should be ok.

I don’t use any VPN (and also tried from another computer in case an hidden “stuff” would act like a VPN).

Concerning the certificate files, non of the mentioned files are available. I only found the following empty folder tree:

I restarted the Plex server many times (as well as the NAS). But without any success.

By the way, I don’t know if it has any kind of importance, the certificate date you copied from my logs is older than the installation date (done in March). Hence, I guess it never gets any certificate after installation. Is there any way to force the Plex server to get one in another way than a restart?

Thanks again for your help!

Once more, thanks for the clue, trumpy81!

It might take some time for me to look for this isssue (it is farther than my actual knowledge but I’ll search a bit and learn!). I’ll then say you how it went.

Also note that, in my case, the “PhotoTranscoder” foilder is the unique folder of the “Cache” folder you gave the path to. Don’t know if it has any impact on my issue and will focus on the double NAT issue.

Thanks again!
