Sounds like the same problem I am still having (for well over a month) I was told it was probably a permission problem but I had used a batch tool to correct that (to no avail) and have since moved everything onto a newly formatted plex cache SSD …and the permission issue doesn’t make sense if my music is still matching and movie/tv show agents are simply not finding anything. Naming is NOT an issue. Plex dance does NOT do anything to fix.
I also tried to turn off “local media assets agents” and reorder the priority but they just pop back to where they were …also not sure if related but this has always been an issue however seems to be worse recently …remote access keep flipping to “not available” and back again to “Available” however it does not seem to be affecting people’s ability to connect or speed at which they connect at so I have learned to just ignore it.

And it still appears to be a permissions problem:
WindowsError: [Error 5] Access is denied: u'\\\\?\\S:\\Plex Media Server\\Plug-in Support\\Caches\\com.plexapp.agents.thetvdb\\HTTP.system\\CacheInfo'
This is just one error of many of the same type in your TVDB agent log, all showing an inability to access a path under S:\Plex Media Server.
So, triple check your permissions, because Plex (or at least the agent) cannot write there. I’m not saying it’s the issue, but it’s an issue.

That’s not your Plex data directory location, that’s just where it stores backups of your database. The location of your Plex data directory is controlled by a registry key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Plex, Inc.\Plex Media Server\LocalAppDataPath
Ok …but I looked everywhere in the settings. I thought there was somewhere else to enter a directory but I could not find it anywhere and gave up looking.

It’s manually finding matches now …but it won’t apply it 
I also tried doing the dance to no avail… it’s acting like it’s matched but "refresh is greyed and not meta data added.

No problem, glad you got it working.
Might be some lag updating some of the metadata, activity isn’t spinning and refresh greyed but that is what it also did for the few it’s found already.
Might have to dance it some more (found one I didn’t do the dance for and 2 I did) …and then hopefully it will be reliable once I start adding movies like normal.
Matching now happening in a timely manner
