It is just a remove/install of the DVR to get the new EPG (not a PMS update). As you are using XML anyway, I believe you’re OK.

I’d like to know when this is completed, I’m on the Canada side with OTA antenna and the guild is now useless to me. How can one guide provider do this correctly but the next doesn’t? All I have in my selection are cable providers.
Another thing, I should be able to checkmark (add) a channel, and NOT select a channel to match it to (so it doesn’t have a guide attached to it) but still be able to watch it. This would help to be able to at least watch channels and not worry about any recordings on it.
I can’t figure out why a recording set for new episodes of NCIS Los Angeles will not record the first new episode for tonight. I have deleted and re-added it several times. The subsequent episodes are showing that they will be recorded but not the one on 1/10/2021 (image). Curiously, the first episode of all creatures great and small is shown to be set for recording. Both Tv shows will record the following Sunday
I am having the same problem. Will not set tonight’s show for recording. It thinks it is not there.
Try clicking on the record button to record that specific episode.
Now if we can only get the shows fixed. Some shows like MacGuyver and Charmed which have been remade are showing up with the old series. This causes the info to be wrong as well since it is a different episode description. I don’t mind if the new guide is better, but so far not impressed.
On another note, why not get EPG information OTA, it is often more accurate than any web based solution.
As mentioned previously, I have already reported the issues with the guide in Australia and Melbourne (I’m located in Melbourne myself)
I purchase the life time Premium Plex, deleted and setup the new DVR, scanned my tuners and then began watching Sunday’s NFL Games from the Guide.
Every 3 minutes I get bumped off the channel and have to select the game again to keep watching.
Does anyone know if I have something setup that is causing this timeout?
Please, fix the EPG information for Spain too. In the Movistar+ information there are A LOT of outdated channels (channels that no longer exists) and A LOT of missed new channels.
The Movistar+ information should have more than 200 channels and at this time there are only 100 (some of them outdated).
This is a mess… it was almost perfect with the old EPG service.

I had previously reset The Daily Show recordings, and they were appearing on the DVR schedule as of last Friday. I went to check the schedule again this morning, and now the scheduled recordings no longer appear.
I have refreshed the guide data, and deleted and recreated the show from the Recording Priority tab, but although it appears from the Guide that this week’s episodes will be recorded, the episodes are not appearing in the DVR Schedule.
It appears that last week, the episodes were marked as new. Now, with what I am guessing is refreshed guide data, the episode numbers may be incorrect and the episodes are no longer marked as new.

Anybody had any luck with Ireland? it’s been about a month and no program guide so can’t really do anything with Plex Live TV. Any of you guys had any success with an XML for Irish EPG? would love to get this working!
Yeah it’s very annoying
I don’t use it myself. I set it up for my Dad who wanted a live TV option, and I told him how great Plex was, so he bought a device and subbed for the Plex pass to have this feature. Needless to say, he’s on to me almost daily for the last few weeks asking has it been sorted yet 
God im confused! Ive just spent an entire morning trying to change this over and i still dont know if its worked!
i have this view when setting up which would indicate that its worked because ive got the brackets around the channel count???
Ive got this view in the guide, all the channel icons are good and my recordings are all still there and correct… which would indicate that i dont have the updated EPG?? whats an EPG???

Similar situation here - made a big deal about how great it was to my brother and he pulled the trigger on lifetime sub. I wish dodgy thumbnails were my worst complaint!
Does it say “powered by GraceNote” at the bottom of the Guide? If so, you are on the new EPG.

Be careful with the recordings; can you see a “next” date for each in the DVR Recording Priority list? …or does it say “no upcoming airings”?
