Just set up a dozen movies to test out recording these split movies - All of them that I checked had the split joined
I normally use MCEBuddy for commercial skip and convert to MP4 HEVC
Will see how this shapes up and try your commercial skipper when I know my process works reliably

I’m just on the other side of the A5 (Postcode CV23) - so not too far from you - and have the ITV HD logo here.
I appreciate it doesn’t help you but I wonder why there is a regional issue with logos?
I take it this has been an issue for a while now and that you’ve tried manually refreshing the guide data?
My cached copy of the logo is at C:\Users\Steve\AppData\Local\Plex Media Server\Cache\PhotoTranscoder\de\de49463b77d15708d0b65aacd2c57f3a330228e0.png.
There are a bunch of directories under PhotoTranscoder where Plex caches the logos for the channels as well as the artwork for movies and shows.
I’m wondering if you have a corrupt version of the file - if so it might be worth deleting it? If not I would check the log files to see if you can see the reason why it might not be downloading.
Is anyone else seeing lots of Unknown Airings on Freeview here in the UK from 06:00 on Sunday 28th throughout all of next week? For example:
I’ve tried refreshing the guide data and restarting Plex for Windows but with no avail. I’ve not tried restarting the server yet as it is currently recording.

I have noticed a lot of unknown airing appearing on the left edge of the guide, when the programme start time is earlier than the current grid view on display. Then when you scroll back in time unknown airing is replaced by the programme details.

Thank you very much for your reply. I’ll look into your suggestions. I have noticed when others post screenshots they are also missing ITV logo. I was missing BBC4 until recently too, but that just populate by itself.
Hi both - I have reported this elsewhere (not that I have any confidence something will be done). If you scroll left, those unknown airings will show the real airing. There is something weird going on with partially-shown and just-started airings in the guide.

@cire12 I deleted DVR, deleted the cache folder, but no luck. The ITVHD logo is still missing for LE2
I don’t know if it would affect the recording in SD or HD, as I normally specifically select the relevant SD/HD channel depending on I want HD or not, but I would think that if it affects the filtering it would also affect the recording.

Ah yes - I have now tried more of the pre-defined times of day and not just “Morning” (06:00) and see the same happening as well. Bizarrely some programs that start dead on the hour also exhibit the problem - but not all.
For example:
The “Unknown Airing” on ITV3 at 06:00. in my original above screenshot should be “On the Buses” S3 E4 but only displays that when you scroll to 05:30.
However, “Breakfast” on BBC1 at 06:00 shows correctly.
Very strange. I wonder if this is be related to the “Unknown Airings” issue on the HD channels when you choose HD only?

It might be a Plex / Cloudflare server side issue with your region 
You could try looking in the main log file for de49463b77d15708d0b65aacd2c57f3a330228e0.png.
As you are in a different region to me your ITV HD logo may have a different file name but you could look for channel 103, ITV1 HD or even .png.
My main log file is located at:
C:\Users\Steve\AppData\Local\Plex Media Server\Logs\Plex Media Server.log
For example I have entries such as the following in mine:

Unfortunately, I don’t explicitly have de49463b77d15708d0b65aacd2c57f3a330228e0.png - I guess Plex doesn’t download them all every day and my logs only go back 2 or 3 days.
I get this too. In addition HD recording is hit and miss, mostly miss. Almost all of my recent recordings have been in SD.
At this point I don’t care to think how many hours of my life i’ve wasted fiddling around with plex live tv

@cire12 When I deleted and re-set-up DVR, and searching for ‘epg/channels/logos’ I can find .png lines for all channels except ITVHD which is '103 (ITV Central East HD) ’ in my case.
So LE2 isn’t pulling a logo for ITV HD ‘ITV Central East HD’
