Any idea why this programme will only let me record it into my Movies library? I have no desire for it to be there.. and want it in my Recordings library like all my other recordings!

For some reason they have always classified documentaries as films… I always have to let it record and then move them into my TV library.

chiming in here, like others, i’ve got lot’s of ‘unknown airings’ in the epg. in my case, using hdhr prime on fios in the states.
normally browse the epg in hd-only on plex web, as well.
@cire12 Any update on this? Multiple threads of HD shows not recording because of an issue with Plex EPG?

Hey JCHH, going to chase this one (103) down with GN. Quick question, what is the expected logo treatment here? I do believe that the color scheme of ITV’s logos have changed in the last few years and the one you referenced is pre-2018 but wanted to check. Also, it looks like they’ve moved away from the logos being tagged with the region (i.e. “Central”, “Border”, etc.) and they’re really only maintaining a single ITV HD logo for all variations, is that you’re expectation as well? I want to make sure GN does this right.

So what now? Is my lineup back?
Because we have yet to hear from our EPG partner that they’ve resolved the issue we can’t say for sure if your specific lineup has been restored. What we can say is if you went to create your DVR and found no lineups available, very few lineups available, or many lineups available but not yours, try again.
We have an employee in Portugal that reports his Vodafone lineup is working as expected, if you don’t see your specific lineup listed when you setup your DVR let me know and I’ll see what I can find out.
We can reproduce this as well. In web, filtering by HD Channels Only definitely breaks the grid. It fails to properly differentiate between SD/HD channels and many of the ones that remain deteriorate into simply displaying “Unknown Airing”. We’re on it.

@gunnersboy we’re looking into this as well. One user did report that identifying the HD channel by “Limit to channel” resulted in successful recordings as a temporary workaround.
I think that was me and it works OK.
Could I ask why are some of us still seeing a valid logo for ITV HD and some of us not? I am one of the lucky ones that still has a logo for channel 103.
Just to chirp up here - it seems that ITV have updated their logos to be a little flatter in appearance.
Their online TV guide shows the following:
I have tuned to both Channel 003 - ITV and Channel - 103 ITV HD and both show a flat logo and no region either - both in the corner during programmes as well as before and after shows.
As such could you also update Channel 003 as well please as that is showing the old logo?

Any ETA? That does work by limiting to channel, but I have too many recordings to go through it all. And limiting to a channel for some reason gets rid of the automatic buffer (1 minute before and 1 minute after for my setup) so I’ve lost the beginning of a couple of shows that I’ve done that on. It also then stops Plex from automatically shifting to a non HD channel if there’s a clash so doesn’t really benefit. More downsides than watching in SD to be honest so not ideal.
Is there any update of the removal of the HD tag from Channel 050 - TJC, Channel 056 - Smithsonian, Channel 064 - Free sports and Channel 080 - Blaze +1 as these are all SD but are being reported as HD by Plex?
This was reported during the beta at the back end of November and several times that I know of in this thread

I’ve not found those yet but I’ve only looked at the home page and their TV guide and haven’t performed a through search. From what I can tell though:
- Their general ITV logo on their home page appears to be the same as the logo that @cire12 posted (without the HD
) - The TV guide also uses the new flat logos
- The general logo on the Wikipedia page uses the new flat logo
- The network Wikipedia page also states those logos were used from 2013 - 2019
- The channel Wikipedia page states the new flat logo has been in use since January 2019
- Plex uses the new flat logos for ITV 2, ITV 3, ITV Be, ITV +1, ITV 2 +1 and CITV. I can’t compare the ITV 3 +1 and ITV 4 +1 channel logos as I’ve disabled those channels since it was pointed out that only run for a few hours a day.
However, the ITV Central Wikipedia page still uses the old logo but then does state that they stopped using their on-air identity on 27 October 2002 - if I was to vote or state my preference I would probably go for the new flat logo especially as it is consistent with the other channels.
