@sa2000 can see you are looking info finish epg problems. Any news about the epg problems in Denmark?

Hmmm strange one and not sure if it’s linked to the HD EPG issue. But Channel 4 (004 and 104) for 10pm on Monday 12th April are showing different programmes where they should be identical.

They seem to be identical for CV23:

I have refreshed my guide data manually today so it could have been fixed earlier - if not I guess it might be regional?

Interesting. I’ve done a search for the programme by Jemain Jenas, The Truth About Police Stop and Search and it seems to have been completely panned by Channel 4. All other EPG saying 999 on the front line and all repeats of the show have gone from Channel 4’s own EPG.

I don’t know if anyone else has noticed but it looks like Blaze +1 is now correctly identified as being an SD channel in the guide:

HD Channels - 210408

With the HD tag being removed from the channel scan

Not sure about Free Sports as my tuner / aerial doesn’t receive it here.

I’ve just double checked the guide in my recently installed Ubuntu VM as I haven’t refreshed the guide data on that today and it shows 999: On The Front Line as well.

I’ve not fully commissioned the Ubuntu server as I’ve not moved my main libraries to it yet but you can see from a search that neither of my Plex Server instances are finding The Truth About Police Stop and Search for Live TV:

The Truth About Police Stop and Search

…and looking at both the Freeview Channel 4 TV Guides for Monday at 22:00 it seems 999: On The Front Line is correct.

I had the same too in OX13 until I manually refreshed the guide data.

Looks fixed here. Just channels 50 and 56 to go. :slightly_smiling_face:

Out of interest, do you have Court TV in your EPG yet? Channel 89

Cool

I don’t but then that is another channel that I don’t appear to be able to receive - I’ve just performed a channel scan directly from my HDHomeRun CONNECT QUATRO and I still can’t see it:

HDHomeRun Channel List

got it in OX25…

That’s annoying, doing a little digging it seems FreeSports and Court TV are both broadcasted on the COM7 multiplex, so I am guessing you are in 24% blackspot that COM7 and 8 appear to have on coverage table below. If it is any consolation they aren’t HD channels on FreeView. :slightly_smiling_face:

Yep, me too in OX13… if we ever see it come into gracenote EPG though I’ll never know.

Cheers - I checked the status checker on the Freeview website and it reckons I should be able to receive them.

According to an Aerial Alignment app on my phone I’m on the Sutton Coldfield transmitter which is about 25 miles away so I don’t know if this is a problem as I’m not in a valley or anything like that - quite high ground to be honest with you.

I do have a new HD loft mounted aerial ready to fit so perhaps I need to get my backside into gear and fit that rather than use the 15 year old chimney mounted one

report it in the doc and make sure @sa2000 is aware here…

Cheers. I’ve certainly logged it, more than once. Plus I did mention it a while back in this thread but didn’t tag anyone.

Hey @sa2000 has this been logged with Gracenote? How long do new channels usually take to appear?

Found your feedback form - replied here DENMARK: Lots of missing channels - #38 by sa2000

It seems that the original Battlestar Galactica series from 1978 has been merged with the update from 2003/2004.

The original series has recently started showing daily on Horror Channel (Channel 068) whilst the update series has had two weekly airings on a Friday night on BBC2 (Channel 002) and BBC2 HD (Channel 102) since September last year.

I submitted the online feedback form at the beginning of the week, as I noticed that episodes from the original series (Episodes 14+) are now appearing in my recording schedule for next week onwards - highlighted in red:

Furthermore if I did want to record the original series then episodes 1 to 13 won’t record as they are already present for the remake.

If I then search for Battlestar Galactica or find an episode and click the title, Plex shows the following for example:

As you can see the synopsis states “This update of the late-1970s programme…”

Note: This issue aside the episode data seems to be correct for both series.

@sa2000 - Did you receive my feedback form and has there been any progress on this?
