This has been fixed by Gracenote. It is no longer showing as an HD channel
I just started getting this issue myself. DVR works fine, but I can’t tune live channels. HDHR app works just fine also.
Thank you, but the logo is now missing - as reported here by Claret.
Could you please add ITV Be to the list of channels that require the split movies fix as I found the following problem with Sex In The City 2 tonight:
I don’t think movies are shown on this channel very often but it would be great to be consistent so a user doesn’t get caught out.
I’m not sure if there has been a processing error over the weekend but there have been several Unknown Airings on E4 (Channel 13) and E4 +1 (Channel 29). For example:
The ones that I only saw on E4 for yesterday cleared on Saturday after refreshing the guide data but the others for today on both channels remained. On E4 these shows are:
16:00 - 16:30 black-ish
19:00 - 19:30 Hollyoaks
20:00 - 21:00 Below Deck Mediterranean
22:30 - 23:00 Harley Quinn
23:30 - 00:00 Duncanville
Update: It’s maybe a bit too early to say, so could just be coincidental, but strangely these same slots are also showing as Unknown Airing next Monday (the 26th July) as well.
Guide: Freeview - Local Broadcast Listings (148 channels)
Postcode: CV23.
Thanks - I have put in a request to our EPG data ingestion team to add ITV Be and ITV Be+1 to the set of channels covered by the split movies fix.
@captain_caveman2k Update from Gracenote indicating that the issue is caused by the data they receive from Channel 4. They have established contact with Channel 4 and they are looking into why they are not sending the qualifiers on the schedules.
Checked EPG data from Gracenote and the logo is missing there. I have referred this to Gracenote. (also noted PBS America +1 missing logo)
Can anyone point me to a fix for this please…
Set nightly news recording at 6pm to record - working fine for months suddenly didn’t record.
Scheduler is showing the show is there but no upcoming shows. Check Guide, show is there as usual. Check all the settings i.e. Channel, Time etc etc all perfect but still showing no upcoming shows.
Go to the same show tomorrow and click record, set the advanced and it shows as scheduled.
It’s the same show at the same time on the same channel how can it stop working on the schedule but be added again from Guide appearing in Scheduled twice?

Many thanks - The following channels are also missing logos for me:
252 - Kiss Chat & Date - The channel also has the wrong name of Kiss Me TV at present.
253 - Proud Dating.
701 - BBC Radio 1 Xtra.
The following channels have the wrong logos:
050 - TJC shows the TJC Choice logo which I believe is a Sky and Freesat channel.
077 - TCC shows the Together TV logo.
If it helps I’ve been keep this post up to date with the progress of logos over the last few months.
That’s great - thank you.
Note:ITV Be +1 appears to be a placeholder channel and looking at the Freeview guide is now airing between 05:00 and 06:00 with an hour of teleshopping:
I removed the channel along with ITV3 +1 and ITV4 +1 from my guide since the discussion here and here.
I noticed that as well - i have actualy included the Radio 1 Xtra in my request but skipped mentioning any of the dating channels !
Cool - thank you.
With other more important issues I don’t blame you - they are minor channels in my book.
I only include them for completeness and raise awareness as it looks a little messy when showing off the Plex TV guide to friends.
Unknown Airings are caused by gaps in the schedule. Gaps arise if some program data is missing when the airing schedule entry is processed during ingestion. These tend to correct themselves the closer we get to the airing time as the missing / delayed data becomes available.
I cannot check what we had on a refresh of the EPG on Monday but at this moment following an EPG overnight refresh - we have the following gaps in the schedule for E4. I expect these to resolve themselves after further ingestions and EPG refreshes - I will flag these to our ingestion team

I have been keeping an eye on the Unknown Airings for Monday the 26th since we spoke the other day and it looks like they resolved this morning ![]()
However, there is still something odd happening with the ingestion from E4 as the new tags for the following shows are missing and some series information isn’t always correct either:
- 25/07: 19:00 - Wipeout USA S8 E2
- 26/07: 00:00 - Batwoman S2 E14
- 26/07: 16:00 - black-ish S7 E5
- 26/07: 16:30 - black-ish S7 E6
- 26/07: 22:00 - Rick and Morty S5 E6
- 26/07: 22:30 - Harley Quinn S2 E6
Wipeout USA
Plex identifies the show as S1 E2 rather than part of Series 8:

The Channel 4 guide is correct:
The Freeview guide is showing a generic synopsis, no new status or series info today, although it was correct on Monday when I captured the following:

Batwoman
This seems to be an ongoing issue in Plex as it is still incorrect today - initially raised here in May:

The Channel 4 guide is correct:
The Freeview guide on the other hand, shows the correct episode synopsis, but not the new status or series info today, although it was correct on Monday when I captured the following:

black-ish
Plex doesn’t show the new tag:

The Channel 4 guide is correct:
The Freeview guide shows the correct synopsis but not the new status or series info today, although it did on Tuesday when I captured the following:

Rick and Morty and Harley Quinn
Plex doesn’t show the new tags:

Hello @sa2000
Do you hane any updates regarding the “Released shortly” / “Julkaistaan pian” -text? This issue has now been for +6 months…
I have received this response from Gracenote:
At this time we are not supporting schedules for these channels. I will ask our content team again if this is something we can add in the near future.
Unfortunately, that also means Plex pass is a no-go anymore.
Why did you change providers? It was working fine before “the update you’ve been waiting for”, so NO it wasn’t the update we have been waiting for.
Please also name your previous provider so I can go to them and ask for a feed.
How hard is it to implement over-the-air EPG support to Plex? That would make this issue disappear at least for us.
Thank you @sa2000 for your reply however you should tell Gracenote that it’s not acceptable as this is pretty much the same if you would not get GUIDE information for BBC in the UK.
Nelonen media is one of the biggest broadcasting companies (Basically we have 3: Yle, MTV, Nelonen Media) here in Finland. If this would be a smaller company/organization/channel I would understand their answer.
As you are buying this service from Gracenote you should pressure them on adding guide information for these channels for the reasons mentioned above ASAP (as it has been over half a year). If they will not add channels owned by Nelonen Media you should tell them that this will be taken into consideration when your subscription/licence should be renewed and that it might effect your renewal of their service.
For now it makes Plex useless for me and my wife as most of our programs we want to record come from the channels Nelonen Media provides.
I truly hope you do understand that this is not a minor issue for users living in Finland. For now I’m forced to use other platforms/solutions to by pass this issue that has been around for more than 6 months. Until this issue is fixed I can’t endorce Plex for anybody in Finland.
E. As @samip5 mentioned everything worked flawlessly before Gracenote was selected as the EPG provider.
I see from this morning’s refresh that we have channel logos for channel 236 - GB News and channel 701 - BBC Radio 1 Xtra - unfortunately they appear to be generic Plex logos ![]()
