I have referred this to Gracenote

rabbitears.info ( RabbitEars.Info) does not show these channels for Austin, Texas but has the KBTX for BRYAN and KWKT set for WACO

In the meantime, whilst waiting for Gracenote to add the channels, could you see if this would work. Adding the same DVR again but with zip code within BRYAN and selecting only the 3.x channels and then adding the DVR again with zip code for WACO and selecting only the 44.x set. - I have not tried this

Are you sure it is 27.7 for H and I ?

rabbitears.info is showing it as 27.2
RabbitEars.Info

You’re correct. H and I is 27.2.

Sorry for the weird typo. I had one job!

This has been referred to Gracenote. Thank you for confirming it is 27.2 and not 27.7

I also mentioned 14.12 to Gracenote which is showing on RabbitEars.Info for KSFV-CD

This has been referred to Gracenote

Thanks for reporting it

Hello a few weeks ago I noted that a couple channels in the Minneapolis/St Paul area which had been previously reported were not showing up to be selected in the channel list, and the problem seems to persist.

Twist 11.7 and HSN 11.8, while probably not the most important channels on the list, would be nice if they became selectable.

not sure if this is some other problem. or if Gracenote just isn’t getting them added?

thanks

I have asked Gracenote for an update - There is an open case with them for US Zip code 55408

What is your zip code ?

I do expect Gracenote to make the change for all zip code for Minneapolis - but sometimes they forget to do that part

My zip code is 55330… Thanks for following up on the issue… have a good day.

Happening again today November 10th same channel from 19h till 22h.
The channels appear on Gracenote, is it a parsing issue within Plex?

The Unknown Airings are due to gaps in our schedules. The issue arises when we process the Gracenote EPG data and the detailed program metadata is not available from gracenote at that time but become available sometime after we process the schedule data

We are actually working now on making changes to how we handle this and will fill the missing data when it becomes available later.

Once GraceNote fixes an issue, such as an un-selectable channel, is there any process needed to get it to add? Do you have just refresh the guide or is there more to it?

If a channel is added to a lineup, you would need to go to DVR Settings and then click on the “xxx enabled” channels link for the DVR and enable the channel by ticking the left hand side tickbox and select the new lineup channel in the drop-down lineup channels list on the right.

Alternatively delete the DVR and recreate using the same lineup / guide as before and I would expect mapping of the channel to be automatic then.

Thanks for that information, just to see if anything changed, I did a rescan and the 2 channels that I and others have noted, Twist 11.7 and HSN 11.8, are still not showing up as selectable to enable. While not sure how long it usually takes Gracenote to deploy fixes, but I think its going on 2 months now…

I am aware its probably beyond your control and its all up to them and the best you can do is to keep bugging them… Hopefully they’ll get it fixed soon… Have a good day.

Thank you for this. These two stations are now visible in the guide.

However the program listings for 27.2 (H&I) are off. I’m on the west coast, and it’s showing me east coast programming times.

For example, the H&I program guide here: H&I | Schedule shows that “MacGuyver” will air at 5PM here in the Pacific Time zone. That is correct.

The Plex program guide is incorrectly showing that it will air at 2PM. Everything in this station’s guide data is 3 hours off.

Again, this is for zip code 92808, station 27.2. Thanks!

Thank you for the feedback. I have passed that on. Gracenote have not yet closed the ticket

Thanks for submitting these. Is there an ETA on when these will be updated in plex?

it varies from a couple of weeks to a few months

Is it possible for users to request a new country to be added in the EPG guide provided by Plex?
It’s otherwise impossible to find xmltv file for my country.

Thanks in advance,
