Gracenote have corrected the Derby Post Codes lineups for Local Broadcast Listings for channel 1 where it now does give the BBC1 East Midlands channel - as per NG1 lineup
That is a separate issue - for the regional HD channels and the state is exactly as here
This is different and if HD BBC channels are now regional then I will need to refer that to gracenote
For now you have channel 1 as the correct regional channel but for 101 you have the BBC1 England HD channel
I do find it strange though that I cannot select "001 BBC1 (BBC1EM) for channel “101 BBC ONE EMidHD” and I see the error message “There was a problem saving your DVR. Please try again” (as I posted above)
Shouldn’t I be able to select any listings I want for a given channel?
@e10kstarfire Channel 1 will be going soon anyways, so it’s best to stick with 101 just in case Gracenote doesn’t get it all updated before channel 1 is removed.
It might be because Channel 1 is SD and 101 is HD and marked as different program listings to channel 1.
Hi, trying to add a new channel (25.5, USA 33426 OTA) to my Live TV & DVR and can’t seem to match it. I’ve added it on my HDHomeRun and it works fine there. When I attempted to re-scan it found it on the Tuner Channels column, but I can’t seem to Match it under the Epic Channels one. I deleted it all together, re-did it but same thing. Not sure where to go from here. Here’s a screenshot for you. Any help would be appreciated.
The error to save changes arises when the same EPG channel is assigned to more than one Tuner channel number. So in this case, both tuner channels 1 and 101 were assigned to EPG channel 1. You can disable tuner channel 1 and just have tuner channel 101 mapped to EPG channel 1 and this should stop the error arising.
Plex Server 1.32.0.6973
Xfinity Frederick County
HDHomeRun Prime with cablecard
Many channels don’t match up for Xfinity Frederick County Maryland. 560 channels available and less than 100 match up. Some are duplicates, but many are not.
If they are mapped manually they will show up fine, but there are too many to map manually.
Rescanning, deleting and readding tuner has no effect.
Hi @sa2000, I PM’d you on this topic in case you didn’t see it, please let me know what other steps or information you need, or if the message didn’t make it somehow. Thanks!
I noticed today that BBC1 had become unmapped, possibly due to the changes regarding the regional HD channels, as the name appears to have changed to 001 BBC West Midlands HD (BBC1WMHD)
I’m not picking up the full listing for PBS America in the UK (Location 84).
It broadcasts on Freeview from 13:00, but for example today, 01/05, the first program shown starts at 14:40 and the last program shown finishes at midnight, after that there are no more listings at all.
Hope this it the right place to post this problem.
Also following the recent changes on Freeview some channels that are not HD are being tagged as HD. For example:
001: BBC1 (and as @gadgetchannel mentioned us also being identified now as BBC1WMHD where as that is new regional name for channel 101 here in the West Midlands)
I have referred the issue to gracenote for the following channels being incorrectly marked as HDTV
channel 20 DRAMAUK (Drama HD)
channel 27 YESTDAY (Yesterday HD)
channel 79 EARTHXEU (Earth X TV (Europe))
I have also notified Gracenote that the Regional BBC 1 HD channel was assigned to channel 1 instead of 101. I have only reported CV23 as one example - not sure if the issue applies to all regions
