Your database looks really good and I don’t missing file errors.
XML is if you choose to subscribe to an alternate guide provider, Plex had to drop some countries so that is how they get a guide.

I’m the OP on that post. I was able to figure out the guide was my problem. So much so, the app I was using was improperly tagging new episode with previously shown tag.
The app developer had not worked on the project in some time, so I moved on to a different one called guide2go. That has its own issues, but was able to get the new tag to appear properly.
In addition epg123’s guide is the best of the bunch in my opinion.
Just an fyi, I am using Plex in a docker. When you import a new guide into a docker you need restart the docker.
Also I needed to delete and re add my shows or plex would not see the recordings.

When you have time would you please send me a snippet of what to look for in the Log/Database file and a short explanation so I know how to find and correct future errors.
Also would you please recommend a good starting point for understanding DVR recording better? Off to make my head spin

It sort of helped to know that I wasn’t the only one having the problem. I am new at Plex and troubleshooting, so I am going to stick with all Plex. I don’t need to complicate my life.
The Plex guide also has problems deciding which is a new show. It doesn’t help that my local PBS names two different programs the same.
I will try using the database error report and see if I can get them to respond.
Do you know where Plex gets its information and where it stores its programming information?
