MP4 File Won't Transfer To Plex Media Library

I ripped a Blu Ray movie using EaseFab LOssles Copy and I wanted to tranfer it to the Plex Media Library but it wouldn’t.

As in…
… the file doesn’t transfer to the Syno NAS?
… or it’s transferring fine but Plex won’t be see it / catalogue it?

The movie is Becoming Led Zeppelin. When I check the the video folder, it is grayed out .

If you are new to running Plex on a Synology NAS, these documents can help:

Plex Media Server must be granted read access to the media files. See FAQ 19: Setting permissions to allow Plex access to media files and FAQ 29 - DSM 7 - Give PlexMediaServer access to your media.

Please show how you have the files named and organized, including which folder is added to the Plex library - directory listing, screenshot from File Station, etc.

You will also need to follow Plex naming and organization requirements. See Plex Documentation → Your Media.

For example:

/media/movies <-- folder added to movie library
.../Becoming Led Zeppelin (2025) <-- movie_name (year)
....../Becoming Led Zeppelin (2025).mp4 <-- movie_name (year).ext
