New EPG and release

This is using “Comhem Sweden Digital”, and unfortunately it means that (1) I’ve missed recording numerous episodes because Plex doesn’t think “tv-show (2020)” is the same as “tv-show (2012)” which I have actually subscribed to, and (2) even if I manually switch to recording the show with the wrong year, I will have to manually fix a lot of duplicate recordings since it won’t realize which episodes are already there.

This is reported using the form, but I haven’t seen it in the EPG error spreadsheet.

Here are 100 examples of shows showing up as 2020 (not shows I’m recording, just taken from a list, and one or two might actually be from 2020):

Of these 100 examples - can you identify ones that were before in the EPG with a different year than 2020 and now 2020 ? You mentioned a TV show was 2012 before - was that in the EPG or in your TV library ? I need to have an example where it changed year for the show in the EPG

(Earlier this year we stopped matching recordings to thetvdb as that was leading to loss of recordings or having repeated recordings of episodes and the advice to get full benefit of that change was to have separate recording libraries from the normal TV Shows / Movies libraries.
