After a refresh of the guide, i am now also getting BBC1 London News, instead of BBC1 Look North
Both BBC & ITV are now just showing the London guides
Freeview OTA Tyne Tees lineup used
This got me look - and on STV, I have âITV News Londonâ (Freeview STV Central OTA Broadcast) - screen grabs attached.
I have just setup an EH1 post code DVR and I can see that whilst the channel correctly identifies itself as the stv, the guide data is for London.
I am referring this to our provider

Just checked my settings and all looks ok
Season information has been fixed â yay! However, we can just call this one âGood Eatsâ and not âGood Eats: The Return.â It seems like this is being treated as a continuation of the original series. Having it named âGood Eats: The Returnâ is going to mess with the first 14 seasons. Best to just name it âGood Eats.â
Anyway, glad to know these things are getting fixed so quickly.
Hi @sa2000 - Same issue with the local news in the South West where it should be called âSpotlightâ.
Using âFreeview West Country OTA Broadcastâ and following a manual refresh. It has never been right since the switchover from Gracenote but I havenât seen it raised before now.

Anyone know any reason why Neighbours is recording but not being marked as a new recording (unwatched). Instead itâs being marked as watched and therefore not appearing On Deck.
My gut says itâs something to do with the new guideâŠ
I know the episode numbers are off by 1 (they have gone by tvdb which is messed up, think episode 122 is in there twice)
i know it has only just changed to have episode numbers, but could be this if they changed in last few days

The issue with regional ITV seems to be fixed for me, I am now getting Tyne Tees News
For BBC I am now getting a generic news show instead of my local âLook Northâ
Is this correct for BBC?

Whether it is the way it will stay going forwards I do not know, but I can confirm that I see the same as @paulsalter, albeit for a different lineup (Freeview South West OTA). That is to say, regionalised news on ITV and generic Local News on the BBC.

Thanks for the confirmation. This is in line with the feedback I had from our provider. They will look into if it is possible to get specific titles for the BBC regions
I would not expect the effect of episodes 122 and 123 being wrong to affect episode 171 and 172 etc⊠If there was an issue with same episode number being reused for a subsequent episode then that ought only impact that episode number.
Recordings for today 28th to Friday 30th for channel 105 or channel 5 should get recorded as S35 E171 to S35 E173 and the airings at 13:45 are first showings.
If there is an issue with watched state, I suggest getting some server logs after completion of the recording and any post postprocessing / scanning and then screenshot to show the episode
Do a full refresh of the EPG guide to make sure any corrections to episode numbers are picked up. The normal guide refresh should pick up changes for next 24 hours and that should be sufficient for scheduled recordings
This was looked into and the decision was that it should be left as it is. The Press Release for the show calls it âGood Eats: The Returnâ and the graphic for the show also said that.

Fair enough. Once itâs added to my library, itâs being handled correctly, so Iâm happy. Thanks again for being so quick on some of these corrections.
I mentioned 122 as this is listed on tvdb twice, causing the episode numbers for subsequent episodes to be wrong
Today should be S35E172 (28th Aug), E171 should be 27th August
Tuesday 1st Jan was E001, so all Monday airings for the year so far should end in a 0 or 5
