Yes, I did that a few times. I did it again today just to be sure, and there are still many shows listed as 2019. Iâm attaching a new HTML dump of the EPG database showing this problem as well as a large number of episodes being listed as âS2019E??â. And âSeinfeld (1998) S1991E??â which shows that even non-â2019â shows arenât listed as having the right year.
Thanks for replying again! I donât remember what I reported, unfortunately, but this is what I find when I look at the channels mentioned:
Channel 51 (MTV Rocks): No issues found
Channel 101 (Eurosport 1): Only partly correct.
Example: According to https://www.eurosport.se/tvschedule.shtml, tomorrow there will be
Endurance GT (car racing) 06:00-06:59,
EM i Rotterdam, NederlÀnderna (riding) 06:59-07:56,
WATTS 07:56-08:25,
The Minute 08:25-08:27,
PGA-touren - Tour Championship (golf) 08:27-09:20 and
Dam-EM (volleyball) 09:20-09:48.
Plex says
car racing 06:00-07:00,
riding 07:00-07:58,
âsportâ 07:58-08:28,
âsportâ 08:28-08:30,
âsportâ 08:30-09:01
and golf 09:01-09:59.
Channel 103 (Eurosport 2): Same status as channel 101
Channel 117 (FUEL TV): Mostly correct, only a few errors per day. Example error: Aug 30 23:00-23:20 should be Blastoid, but Plex says Discovering Rebiera Grande
Channel 122 (CNBC): Seems to show data for a different channel, every show is wrong. For example, right now (Aug 30 22:55) the current program is Closing Bell, but Plex says The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon
Channel 150 (Cartoon Network): The guide in Plex is correct, but the show names are in English instead of Swedish (e.g. âWe Bare Bearsâ instead of âBara Björnarâ)
If itâs for Com Hem Sweden, then it is supposed to be Fox Sweden.
I only reported Channel 14 (Fox non-HD) since my HDHomeRun can only access the few non-encrypted channels. Channel 30 is encrypted and then I canât access it through Plex even if I have it on my TV. (If anyone knows a working way of actually getting the encrypted channels through a CI or CI+ card, Iâm all earsâŠ)
Hi @sa2000. Thanks for referring the inconsistencies I highlighted to the provider. They have now been changed and I can confirm that the scheduled Dragonâs Den episode on Sunday is now appearing in the planner to record. This suggests that the problem was that it wouldnât recognise the desire to record a program in the guide with a seemingly matching recording (file) already in the destination folder.
Fortunately I know my library well enough and donât record a high enough volume of shows to make this an issue that I canât manage (by identifying and requesting changes) but I can see how it could cause problems and mistrust in the system for other users.
I suspect that the website hasnât been updated yet. The duplicate episode should have been (or is about to be removed) and all the episode numbering updated. This should hopefully fix the watched status issue seemingly affecting Neighbours on Plex.
Hi @sa2000. Please can you refer the following inaccuracy to the provider when you get a chance.
New season/series of Gogglebox in the UK on Channel 4 starting on the 13th September. Correctly flagged as âNewâ but should be Season 14 Episode 1. Thanks in advance.
US Zip code 99705. NFL games for this upcoming weekend show âteams TBDâ. Any other EPG provider shows which teams are actually playing. Also, sports in general have TONS of issues/errors/irregularities. General programs seem to be pretty good but sports have a long way to go. Used to work well with previous provider.
Lineup name please / channel numbers so I can try to replicate
The automatic incremental guide refresh does not pick all changes - have you done a guide refresh just before seeing this ?
Lineup name is OTA Fairbanks. Channel numbers are multiple⊠2.2 and 13.1. I have done a manual refresh multiple times before. Are you saying I need to do one every day to have correct EPG?
The âTeams TBAâ result you saw was just the summary/synopsis text for the 15th and 16th september events which do not yet have the team information
For the 2 channels you mentioned, we have the team names available for the events shown below
Were you able before to see these by just typing the word âteamâ or âteamsâ in the search box? I will look further into this, but currently you do have the means to search by team as shown above
Our current automatic periodic refresh of the guide which happens every 4 hours, does not pick all corrections that get made to the guide data and this is being looked into. I would advise doing a daily full refresh of the guide until the algorithm is improved
