Well for some reason Plex didn’t record the new episode of Hawaii Five-O tonight at 8:00pm on (CBS, 7.1) even though it was scheduled too earlier in the week. And even though my Windows Media Center (backup system) recorded it just fine.
I don’t know if the logs would tell anything, because I suspect the guide was screwed up somehow and Plex was just following the wrong schedule, but in case that would show in the logs here we go. Plex Media Server Logs_2019-10-11_23-22-02.zip (4.7 MB)
Is there a timeline on when the issue regarding Movies broken by a 5 minute filler is going to be fixed? I know there is a work around but this really should have been sorted by now. We shouldn’t have to remember to manually fix something because the software doesn’t work properly.
Last night Plex refused to record an episode of ‘as seen on adult swim’ on at 3:15am. The episode was marked new. I have the DVR set to record every episode. A fiften minute program directly before it was set to record.
I could not even force it to record by removing the ‘all eps’ rule and trying to manually force the episode to record. The only way I was able to record it was by setting the previous show to record an extra fifteen minutes…What gives with that? When is it ever ok to just ignore a manual record request?
On the Freeview London OTA Broadcast list, Film4, Film4+1 and 5USA are currently showing incorrect data.
Film4 and Film4+1 are out by a week - they are currently showing Sat 5th Octobers listings for today. I’m not sure which day 5USA is listing but it’s not today.
Hey hey! Long awaited good news. As of 10/15 my Weather, IFC, Disney, and Freeform channels have been restored. I do hope that any future channel errors can be more quickly corrected, but I am glad to have these back.
Yes, same here for me; those 4 channels are back. I still have a couple of minor issues (one missing channel and one mislabeled channel), but it’s good those are back!
Thanks for the confirmation. As testing of the new approach to processing the data was taking some time, we looked into other ways to bring these lost channels into the live service and this was completed earlier today
I had requested some channel additions to the Broadcast TV Lansing OTA Broadcast lineup for zip code 48813 via the form a little over a week ago. Do I need to also post here? Or is this something that gets addressed automatically after a period of time, and I’ll see it updated in the provider errors tracking sheet?
Thanks! These are part of the Grand Rapids-Kalamazoo lineup, but it’s around half of what I can bring in on my antenna from my location near Lansing. Will keep an eye out for their addition to the Lansing lineup.
