I did follow up issues with “Rick and Morty” on channel 4 where the wrong originally aired date was set for some episodes. I have not checked current state
As of the last full refresh rick & morty now appears fixed. However, a red bull ep popped back up again to record for the eighth time tomorrow morning, so as long as I’m around and remember to grab logs a little after 11am I’ll send you something.
You have the list of airings from me in the screenshots in my post for channels 836 and 934 - I presume it is one of those that I listed. If it is already in the library, please get me media info xml and screenshots

You could collect logs first thing tomorrow morning (soon after end of scheduled tasks period)
You could also increase the number of log files to say 10 by adding preference “LogNumFiles”

I would not advise on using the national lineup. It would be better to establish what is missing from the regional and local lineups
Do you know what channels are missing from the lineup for your region / post code - and would that be “Kabel Deutschland Brandenburg Digital” ?
I do see channel “Kabel 1 HD” in this lineup on channel 119 but not 108 “Kabel 1”.
I compared the 2 lineups and I can see these differences
These channels have different channel numbers when comparing “Kabel Deutschland Germany Digital” and “Kabel Deutschland Brandenburg Digital”

HDHomeRun channel mapping is 5079,
I believe the 5000 range is used when there is no channel number specified - so there may be an issue with how this “VoxUp” channel is broadcast

If any of these are in the library already, then I like to see the media info screen in Plex Web for the ones in the library and also the xml from Plex Web
Also directory listing showing paths / names and date/time last modified
and if it starts recording again - to capture the debug server logs

Don’t know if it is too late but could I also get logs captured 5 minutes after end of recording for the episode that should not have re-recoded
Erm… my HDHomeRun Expand is only using these channel numbers.

But what I can provide is my Plex mapping right now… I did not map any of the radio channels since I am not interested in recording radio. But if it can help you to identify the missing channels, the different channels numbers and enhance the Brandenburg and other mappings… u are welcome:
If the following screens show a channel, it is mapped correctly even if it is currently unticked (since I do not want to have it) - the exceptions ( not mapped correctly ) will be mentioned below each image.
In the image above, the “HD” info of channel 5049 KIKA is incorrect. It was mapped to the HD channel of KIKA before taking the screen-shot.
Here’s one of the few problems that I have the the german-wide EPG of Kabel Deutschland Digital… channel 5060 “WELT” has no mapping (or at least, I did not find one) - this channel is not to be mixed with “Welt der Wunder”.
A lot of these channels in the image above and later images were mapped incorrectly by default, and had to be re-mapped manually by myself.
On the image above, “Home & Garden TV” has no channel mapping in the chosen EPG, as well as VOXup. Comedy Central was later mapped to channel 225.
Another problem: RBB Brandenburg HD and SD cannot be mapped in the chosen EPG.
In the image above, the mapping for 5144 “SR Fernsehen HD” is incorrect, I did not find a good mapping in the chosen EPG.
With this list, you can go and optimize your mappings as well as see which channels I already am interested in and see the problems with my current mapping.

I mentioned a few channels that cannot be mapped currently. I did not check whether I could map these when switching EPGs to Brandenburg (since not having Kabel 1 is a deal breaker).
Well, in theory: yes. But I will not wait for somebody to add main channels to a local EPG if there is another EPG that has them. If you have a perfectly working local EPG… I will change back.
I am recording a lot and experimenting with the EPG goes on my nerves pretty quickly.

Kabel 1 HD is not an unencrypted channel in the German cable.
Yes, because Kabel Deutschland is not correctly transmitting channel numbers as the DVB-C standard allows. @sa2000 We already covered this, it’s not a local issue, nation wide in Germany Kabel Deutschland is not broadcasting the channel numbers, ergo HDHomeRun uses 5000+ range for it.
VOXup is a new Kabel Deutschland channel nationwide, so it will have to be added to all local lineups, not only Brandenburg. However it’s not channel number 205 for every local lineup, e.g. Duisburg regional lineup has VOXup on 510.
Thanks for the feedback concerning the channel number. I have passed that on to our provider. That will complicate matters now that we have 200+ Kabel Deutschland lineups.
There does not appear to be a simple way to get the channel numbers and names for each area.

So is the recommendation that HDHomerun should not be used ? Or is there an automated method for mapping channels ?
Were each of these mapped channels Done manually or did we auto map ok even when the numbers did not match ?

I assume you are still using the KD Germany lineup:
- Welt is channel 553 (used to be N24)
- Voxup you already found at 205
- Home & Garden is 232 (HD is 233)
The regional channels are not there, because they are probably prone to your local lineup. You should probably use the regional lineup if you are interested in the regional channels. In your Brandenburg lineup they are present if I see this correctly. So you only need to wait until channel 108 Kabel 1 gets introduced into the Brandenburg lineup or try to live without SR and RBB until this point. RBB Berlin is at least present in the German KD lineup.
I tried step 3 but my guide is still showing problems for this program.
According to Zap2it the episode number is wrong in Plex. I have some older episodes that are also exhibiting this problem as well. It should be Episode 72 not 74.
May I ask, what is the preferred method for reporting EPG inaccuracies? Is it this thread or some other method?
The weather channel vc 611 has been missing from the Verizon FiOS Delaware/PA Digital lineup since it was launched, any update on when it will show up as a channel in the guide?
Short note:
Using the " Kabel Deutschland Germany Digital" lineup, I can now choose channel 205 VOXup (sometimes called VOXu in Plex).
It has no EPG data yet, but shows “To Be Announced”.
Another glitch is channel 103 (which is RTL - one of the bigger, german-wide channels).
The lineup mentioned above only has it as “RTL Mainfranken” which may or may not be a regional channel. This is WRONG. It SHOULD be “RTL”.
This channel also shows no EPG but “To Be Announced”.
When tuning into it, you get the correct main RTL channel:
Would be perfect to have this fixed and get a notification once the EPG data should be there for both channels.
