I have submitted a request to have these 2 channels added to the Kabel Deutschland Brandenburg Digital lineup

With regards to auto mapping not working - Plex Media Server does attempt to map channels - I would need logs covering DVR setup to see why some are not auto mapped

For Home & Garden TV, it could be because the EPG channel name is HGTV (Germany)

I would need server debug logs to confirm why

Is VOXup already in the “Kabel Deutschland Brandenburg Digital” lineup?

If all three are working , please give me feedback and I will take the time to delete and setup a new DVR in Plex with DEBUG logs activated.

I will not do that BEFORE those three channels becoming available.

HGTV and Welt are also present in the Brandenburg lineup, VoxUp is not (yet).

EPG Problem - CBS Spectrum HD Portland Digital - The Young and the Restless. Yesterday’s episode was labeled 12/17/19 in EPG and today’s episode is labeled 12/17/19 - 12/18/19, which after recording shows as two episodes for 12/17/19 and I don’t have to option to split them. Thursday’s episode is labeled 12/18/19 - 12/19/19 which will also be a problem. Friday’s episode is labeled correctly at 12/20/19.

I have the same problem with Young and the Restless on Verizon Fios Digital Philadelphia. I submitted a request via the form to have it corrected by the EPG provider.

Hopefully it gets corrected soon so my wife stops giving me grief. LOL!

Thanks for bringing this up. It appears that airing of the episodes in Canada was a day earlier and we are picking that date for the original air date causing the confusion. I have referred this to our EPG team. I can see that episodes for 20th December to 31st appear to have the right US original air dates

I can see these 2 channels on the Brandenberg lineup

I will request that 160 gets added to the National lineup - there is already a radio channel there but that is a general issue with this where radio channel numbers collide with TV - but manual assignment would work

So for this - it should get fixed once the “Kabel Deutschland Brandenburg Digital” lineup has the channels you are waiting for

In this, is it the auto mapping that was wrong? or that the HD icon did not get removed after mapping to 602?

I do see both SD and HD channels available

You say 5049 was mapped to the HD channel - and did you after that switch it to 602 Kika SD but the HD icon next to the mapping was sticky and did not get cleared ? - That could be a plex web issue

The following rbb channels appear in the Brandenberg lineup

So this will resolve itself once you move to the Brandenberg lineup
I do not know how feasible it would be for the national lineup having all regional channels - I will this as now

There appears to be a general issue with 103 RTL which you have seen here ETA for Kabel Deutschland regional lineups? - #63 by sa2000

If you add all the regional channels and other specialities to the general lineup, why then manage 200 regional lineups anyway?

The national lineup would most likely need a lot of manual intervention for mapping. With the localized regional lineups I would expect be better automatic mapping of channels - of course if there are no channel numbers, it does make the mapping more difficult

There is a “new problem” for me.
The DMAX channel (program number 503) hold EPG data which is not in sync with the real TV program:

Two examples:
I set a recording for the TV shows “Dead of Night” and “Dead of Winter” that DMAX (according to your EPG currently airs.

But the recording contains two episodes of “BODY CAM 911 - POLIZEIEINSATZ HAUTNAH - Showdown auf dem Highway” and “BODY CAM COPS, Episode 2”.

I checked the DMAX web site for their official program ( https://www.dmax.de/im-tv )

Yes there is a problem with the scheduled tasks. The tasks are not actually starting

None of these tasks showing in the log as about to start, did actually start

There is no information as to why. May be some error earlier on. The logs go back to 02:35am - may be errors occurred at the beginning of the scheduled task period or it could even be an error from previous day if the server has been running for a while.

I would suggest we increase the number logs - by adding this registry key
LogNumFiles of type DWORD (32-bit) Value and setting it to a value of decimal 20. This needs to be created in the registry below
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Plex, Inc.\Plex Media Server

After doing this restart the Plex Media Server so any residual issues would hopefully get cleared. Then capture the logs after this evenings scheduled tasks and hopefully there will be some clues

@rossinior Noticed a number of “Error 12” codes logged for starting transcoder jobs. Wonder if this error code was also being returned for starting scheduled tasks

If it is a windows error code, then it would be
12 (0xC): ERROR_INVALID_ACCESS - The access code is invalid

Any system / application errors in the Application and System event logs that are out of the ordinary

Is this Windows Server OS ?
