Warning for Denver market users (and possibly other US markets)…
Last nights The Blacklist was recorded with the wrong episode number. It came over the EPG as episode 19 instead of 18. And next weeks season finale is currently not showing up as New so it wont record as part of a New Airings season recordings unless the EPG is corrected.
Next Week’s DC’s Legend of Tomorrow is also an episode off so it continues to be a problem when you correct the episode number to get correct metadata. Then it won’t record as the DVR thinks it already has the episode.
People have been entering their problems with the current EPG in this topic for almost a year now. It should be obviously clear that this provider is just not working for Plex. Please, is there no way to go back to the provider we had before this? It was working a lot better than this one. Or use a beter EPG provider like Schedules Direct. Anything but whatever Plex is using right now…
Most work agreements that I know of have a 90 day probationary period. What on earth did you give this EPG provider? Unlimited screwups? A generous pat on the back, keep trying?
I missed SNL too and my snowpiercer is season 3 as well and my other show started wrong number, renamed and now #3 is shown as #4.y sons show missed a bunch of episodes cause the numbers are off. It’s a mess. Never had any issues before with WMC.
I managed to find this on 829 and not 827
Turner Network Television HDTV (East)
and found a schedule entry for the 17th May at 8pm CDT (it is 1am GMT 18th May)
I have reported there is an issue with that because I found here Turner Network Television (East) - TV Listings Guide that it is S1 E1
But your post is from the 10th - did this air on the 10th. Not easy for me to go back in time for EPG data and is the one for the 17th a repeat ?
At this minute, EPG for your lineup shows airing on Sunday 17th in evening on 888 BBC America is showing as S3 E6 with title of Episode 6 and New indicator set
DMA is Denver Market… Example zip codes in the market are 80202, 80016 and 80104.
Channel is NBC which is 9.1 in Denver
Show is “The Blacklist”
Airing times are currently showing at both 7PM and 8PM Mountain time. Not sure which is which.
Season Finale is supposed to be aired on the 15th of May.
Okay, sure. OTA Boston metro area, 11:30 PM Eastern on May 9, 2020, Channel 15.1 WBTS NBC, also channel 710 WBTS on Comcast Cable in the Boston metro area, Saturday Night Live (1975) - S45E18 - SNL at Home with Kristen Wiig was not marked as NEW even though it was a new episode. Can Plex corp get a refund from the EPG provider for inaccurate data? Good luck.
Seems Plex isn’t planning to record the upcoming season finale of The Blacklist on NBC this Friday 5/15. Plex doesn’t think it’s a new episode and it shows a date instead of episode number.
Edit: I just did a manual guide refresh and it fixed it. A couple thoughts on that. The episode was only three days away. I’m wondering what would have happened if I hadn’t done a manual refresh. I could understand at 2-3 WEEKS out maybe you have a place holder, but 3 days? When would Plex have updated on it’s own for this, or would it not have without my intervention?
