Does the problem remain if you do an EPG Refresh now?
If the issue remains after a refresh, I will need fresh logs zip, screenshots as before and zipped copy of the EPG database files - files named
Thanks for trying and all the diagnostics - appears to be some timing issue with two airings being processed at same time and we end up using the same scheduled time for both
I have opened an issue for this with our server team. You could try latest beta 1.20.3.3430-48c594b30 and see if the problem disappears !
I can see that we have the 1990 date of the original series rather than the 2019 reboot. I have referred it to our provider to make sure the 2 versions of the series are set correctly and 2019 is set for the reboot
I have referred the errors to our provider. The next airings are not showing at the moment and appear as TBA - I have mentioned this as well but that could be the station not making the information available early enough (and is a separate issue)
FOX is currently airing baseball playoffs, so new episodes are not being aired now until November 1. I’ll check again in a few days once the EPG gets populated for that time frame.
I suspect the episode numbering are channel 5 own errors that are not corrected in time
if you look at the schedule for the 26th October here No access outside UK it shows the airing as being S18 E4 but in the text it refers to S18 Ep 3 !
The “New” indicator is an error that I have referred to our provider - together with request to look into the sequencing - i see now that the 19th October shows as S18 E2 in the channel schedule - my guess and it is only a guess is that they had that wrong initially and corrected it later
Guide/Lineup name: Verizon FiOS Burlington (MA) Digital
Channel number/Name: Comedy Central 190/690
The Daily Show with Trevor Noah has disappeared from the schedule for Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday night. It did record on Monday night. I thought I saw it on the schedule when I was reviewing the schedule yesterday. In it’s place, there is “Comedy Central Programming”. I refreshed the EPG manually, but it still is not appearing on the schedule.
How long does it typically take for postponed/rescheduled episodes to be reflected in the Guide?
So far this week on CBS, S32E5 (Nov 4th) of The Amazing Race and S1E6 (Nov 5th) of Star Trek Discovery both got postponed last-minute due to election coverage. Both shows still haven’t been updated in the EPG to reflect these episodes being bumped to next week at their usual time.
Also, if I delete the recordings while they’re unwatched, will they re-record? Or do I manually need to re-record them as one-offs?
Both of these were correct(ed) as of my most recent guide refresh during scheduled tasks overnight yesterday/today.
I only record Star Trek Discovery and I deleted the last episode unwatched. Season 1 episode 6 appeared back on my DVR schedule automatically once the guide refreshed. There was a bit of weirdness, however. It was added to the schedule as a separate recording, leaving season 1 episode 7 as well (both at the same time). This likely would have corrected itself, but I forced the issue by deleting the series from my recordings entirely and re-adding it.
I’m seeing similar weirdness here. The rescheduled shows from last week are all on my recording schedule, but just overlaid on top of the original schedule. So I have two episodes of the same show, recording at the same time on the same channel.
I think I’ll also delete and re-add these recordings to be safe. And I’m sure I’ll need to do the same when Manhunt: Deadly Games eventually catches up to last night’s last-minute cancellations.
