The episode numbering for Cosmos on FOX was incorrect last week and is incorrect this week. EPG has all the episodes listed as a continuation of Season 1, but the episode count should have restarted with 1 since it is Season 2. The episode that is to air this Tuesday should have episode numbering S2E3, and not S1E15.
The Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday night episodes (9/28-9/30) of The Daily Show have gone missing from the DVR schedule. The Thursday night episode (10/1) is still present. The EPG lists “Comedy Central Programming” at 11 PM for the 3 days the episodes are missing.
I subscribed to Plex Pass on a monthly basis to set up my system with the intention of subscribing on a yearly or lifetime basis as soon your Live TV and EPG features were confirmed to be operating correctly. But my 1st disappointment was when I found that the native Plex EPG was not functioning, so I could not activate my Live TV and DVR. I then had to accept to pursue your XMLTV file Guide option and was able to get the Live TV and DVR working in a limited fashion, but operational. After two or three days I found that Plex had failed indicating that “The Guide is empty” and I have since lost all function of my Live TV and DVR. All attempts of implementing the solutions from your forums and the WEB have been to no avail and the quantity of posts with this issue reflect this has been an ongoing anomaly for the past years. Please advise if and when you predict to correct this anomaly soon, so that I can wait or should I just request a credit for my subscription.
Thank You
The “fun” continues, we now have season and episode numbers but about a year off. Today’s episode S48E06, and for everyone else who are not relying on Plex and living in the now, the actual episode is 49E113. Makes you long for a VCR…
The Paramount Network (755 PARHD) is showing episodes of the sitcom “Mom”. They are mostly season 7. They are all incorrectly marked as new in my guide which is for Comcast Merrimack Digital.
Cartoon network night time schedule has been incorrect all week. Saturday schedule is incorrect as well. Next week is still fubar. Have gone through various recordings and notice all sorts of holes and/or 5min preview episodes recorded as full episodes blocking, usually, the season finale from recording. Trash like this has finally forced me to migrate elsewhere. Still in disbelief I tolerated such BS so long.
The problem I reported was present from 9/28 - 10/1 for all airings of Mom. It did not clear when I refreshed my guide. But, yes the New indicator is not set for any of the future airings of Mom repeats currently in my guide. Thanks for checking.
Fear the Walking Dead is not appearing in the DVR Schedule, even though I recently set the “Limit to Airing Time” to Any and set Airings to “New and Repeat”.
Does the problem also appear in the DVR Schedule on other plex clients ? eg Plex for Android ?
There was still a Plex Web issue relating to what is seen in the DVR Schedule and Recording Priority which is fixed in the hosted web app but not the current Plex Media Server bundled web app. Release Note for Plex Web 4.42.1
Fixed an issue that could lead to the wrong DVR recording info being shown in the calendar view
Fixed display issues in the Live TV DVR Schedule calendar view
How are you accessing plex web ?
The hosted app which has the above fixes is available through https://app.plex.tv/desktop
If the above is happening with the hosted Plex Web app which has the fixes, please provide logs with debug logging after displaying the DVR schedule and it does not show
Have you perhaps switched locations for DVR setup ? Between a US and Latin America zip codes ? We have the series with a different identifier for Latin America
Guide/Lineup name: Verizon FiOS Burlington (MA) Digital
Channel number/Name: Comedy Central 190/690
The Daily Show for Thursday night currently appears on the schedule for Wednesday night, along with the Wednesday airing. No episode is on the schedule for Thursday night.
I have an explanation for this. In October 2019 we changed how EPG data is held to be regional and I suspect after we went live with this change the ID’s changed - see related announcement
So basically schedules probably needed to be recreated after this - for some regions
