On BBC 2 and BBC 2 HD on Thursday and Friday evenings at 22:00 and 23:15 respectively are shows both with the title “Later live… with Jools Holland” in the Plex guide. They are not the same show with the Thursday show being live for half an hour and the Friday show being a recording lasting one hour. In the weeks since the guide source was changed both shows recorded with “New and repeat airings” set. This week only the Thursday show is scheduled with the same rules. Can the guide be corrected please? Confusingly the Freeview guide at freeview.co.uk shows both as “Later… with Jools Holland”. In previous years the Thursday show was titled “Later live… with Jools Holland” and the Friday show was titled “Later… with Jools Holland”. The way is was in previous years was better in my opinion.

This has been partially fixed - we now have separate episodes for these - needs a guide refresh

Thursday 14 November at 22:00 - half hour episode
Thursday 21 November at 22:00 - half hour episode

Friday 15 November at 23:10 - longer episode
Friday 22 November at 23:15 - longer episode

The “New” indicator is not set for the 15 November - so would need to record repeats and New. I will let you know when the “New” indicator is corrected

As I got no response to the query above about frequency changes

Bilsdale Transmitter (Tyne Tees) no longer works
All main channels are now missing from a scan
I am on my 2nd attempt to set it up doing and all frequency scan, but this doesnt seem to pick up the channels correctly either (they are not mapable)

My transmitter is listed as one to change on 13th Nov (think its only the main BBC/ITV/Ch4 muxes for me)

Will it just be a case of doing a rescan of channels (using all frequencies) to get things running again?

If frequencies change - then re scan is necessary. If it is a Hauppauge tuner or one of the older HD Homeruns eg HDHomerun Dual, the scan would be by Plex Media Server (through the Plex Tuner Service) in Server Settings / Live TV & DVR Settings. There are a number of transmitter groups listed in the dropdown but the frequencies for these have not been updated to reflect the frequent 700MHz clearance actions and so would need to be done using the UK Full Range set

If it is not a tuner managed by the Plex Tuner Service, eg HD Homerun Duo, then a rescan would be through the Tuner setup GUI interface.

There appears to be a lot of engineering work this week and Bilsdale is listed here

Eventually got it working, had to do full frequency scan and then manually map most of the channels
Non of the BBC/ITV/Ch4 or Ch5 auto matched so they where all unticked

This is ongoing work around the country until sometime next year, the Bilsdale setup is currently broken as if you use it then all major channel will be missing

The repeats of Marvel’s Agent Carter on Paramount (054 PARMNT) for the next two weeks doesn’t have the Series and Episodes:

Tomorrow 21:00: Showing as “8/1/19- Better Angles” should be S02E03.
Tomorrow 22:00: Showing as “7/26/19 - Smoke and Mirrors” should be S02E04.
21 November 21:00: Showing as “7/11/19 - The Atomic Job” should be S02E05.
21 November 22:00: Showing as “7/19/19 - Life of the Party” should be S02E06.

I’ve guessing the provider cannot match these against “Marvels’ Agent Carter” as Freeview is incorrectly listing it as just “Agent Carter”.

When I recorded both series 1 and 2 earlier in the year they were correctly identified as “Marvel’s Agent Carter” just like “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D”.

I’m not too sure what has gone wrong here but the film “Overrun” which airs on Sony Movies Action (040 M4Men) tomorrow evening at 19:45 appears with artwork from the series Arrow.

Episode 3 does not have sequence numbers S2 E3. It is showing with wrong date (1/1/2019) and title “Episode 3 and 4”
Episode 5 does not have sequence numbers S2 E5. It is showing as “Episode 5 and 6”

The date issue on Episode 3 is due to a problem at our end which I have raiased internally

How are you able to use the proprietory v6 Virgin Media Cable box with Plex ?

You can use any cable box with Plex, including the v6 box, by using an HDMI capture device.

I reported (via the usual link) that the virgin media channel list is way out of date, but i haven’t seen anything to suggest that it might get looked at. is it going to be?

the channel ordering is wrong, which results in channel data being applied to the wrong channels.

I had a look at the list of channels for the Virgin Media Scotland (Central) Digital lineup. Can you confirm that the following as being what needs to be done. Also for 102 - should it be the BBC 2 channel listing? BBC 2 Scotland closed last year - so I presume it was not switched to the national BBC 2 channel
